After being ejected from a vehicle during a horrific car crash in Texas, two toddlers were seen walking on the highway unscathed. The incident occurred August 11 on Interstate 10's East freeway in Freeport. Two vehicles collided on the highway, causing one to flip several times and eject the two young children inside.
Witness video was shared on X, and it is positively alarming. The toddlers, who only wore diapers, appear unharmed as adults rush to help them. Miraculously, no one was seriously hurt.

It was a serious accident.
According to a post on X from Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez, “Deputies responded to a major crash on the main lanes of the East Freeway at Freeport. A two-car crash where one of the cars flipped over several times causing ejection.”
The toddlers reportedly walked away from the vehicle that flipped.
In the video, we see a Jeep flipped over on the highway. According to a post on X by Collin Rugg, the toddlers were ejected from the Jeep and were walking on the highway.
Gonzalez wrote, “The car was occupied by one adult and two children. They are being transported to a hospital. No reported injuries to the occupants in the other car.”
It is unclear if the children were in car seats during the crash.
There are few details about the incident, but Rugg wrote on X that the toddlers were ejected out of the Jeep window. Whether they were secured in a car seat or with a seatbelt is unclear. One thing is certain – it’s a miracle they survived.
The video shocked viewers.
Rugg’s video has been viewed 7.7 million times, and people are positively shocked by what they saw.
Many have speculated the children were not in car seats and condemned the driver for not being more careful.
Someone asked, “The odds of both of them not being harmed but both ejected from child seats? Or wait… they weren’t in them. This Dad is probably going to jail for child endangerment.”
Many users agreed, such as this person who wrote, “What happened to securing your children safely?”
Someone else apparently thought a higher power was watching out for the children: “Their parent didn’t care enough to look out for them, but God did,” the person commented.

Car seats are required by Texas law.
Per the Texas Department of Public Safety, children must be secured in a proper car seat. “All children younger than 8 years old, unless taller than 4’9”, are required to be in the appropriate child safety seat system wherever they ride in a passenger vehicle. The safety seat system MUST be installed according to the manufacturer’s instructions.”
Adults who cannot afford a car seat can contact the Department of State Health Services’ Safe Riders Child Passenger Safety Program at 1-800-252-8255.
