Viral Video Shows Teen Boy Stomping Man’s Head in Brutal Attack Leaving Him Near Death

Sometimes we wonder why people take out their phones to record rather than contact the police in an emergency. Whether they want to remember the incident forever, produce evidence, or go viral, people love to get that footage. In the case of a recent fight at an Arkansas gas station, cellphone footage might have been the driving force behind 18-Year-Old Cooper Camferdam turning himself in to authorities.

Shocking video shows a group of people fighting at a Circle K gas station in Hot Springs. When the victim, 20-Year-Old Noah Epperson, hit the ground, Camferdam allegedly stomped on his head. Today, Epperson is in the ICU and Camferdam is behind bars.

A fight reportedly broke out at a party between two groups of people on the evening of January 17, 2026, per a police report obtained by Fox 16. Apparently, Epperson belonged to one group and Camferdam to the other. Epperson’s group reportedly left the party first and went to the Circle K on Malvern Avenue. According to them, Camferdam and others followed them to the gas station, and the fight began.

Disturbing footage from the fight appears to show Epperson on the ground. A shirtless Camferdam allegedly kicks him, and after stomping on his face, he and the group leave. Police arrived shortly thereafter, and emergency responders took Epperson to the hospital.

In a Facebook post about the incident, a number of people who live in the area shared details about Camferdam’s apparent history of violent behavior.

“He has been ran out of Saline County so many times for his behavior. He’s been back in town for less than 6 months and has caused so many problems,” one commenter wrote.

“This boy, Cooper Camferdam jumped my son at the PetCo/Burlington parking lot around a year ago. A report was made and nothing was done about it! He likes to go around and pick fights just to have someone video it,” another person shared.

“Maybe they should have done something about him when he duck tapes my son in the locker room,” one mom commented.

Katie Epperson, the victim’s mother, told KARK she’s thankful for her son’s survival. “He has suffered a fracture to the skull, fracture to the jaw, and he has hearing loss on his left ear,” she said. “The front of his face, there isn’t anything. But both sides, big, purple ears and bruises.”

She added that it will take time before the family truly knows the extent of her son’s injuries. Katie Epperson wants those responsible to pay for what they did to her son.

“We’re looking into options to get these medical bills covered,” she told KARK. “But I really feel strongly that the suspect should pay the medical bills.”

Friends created a GoFundMe account to help offset the mounting costs, as Epperson does not have health insurance.

Camferdam turned himself in, and a judge set his bond at $500,000, KARK reported. He has been charged with felony first-degree battery. Police intend to continue the investigation, and others could face charges.

This young man truly looked death in the face and survived. Now that Camferdam’s 15 minutes of fame is up, we can’t help but wonder if going viral was worth it.
