For some families, going above and beyond with holiday decor is a beloved tradition that they try to top each year — whether their neighbors love it or not. One family from Texas has taken this sentiment to the next level with "Baby Shark"-inspired holiday lights and we can't help but feel bad for anybody who lives by this addictive display.
The Baby Shark song has gone viral thanks to its addictive tune that kiddos love and parents hate (because it gets stuck in your head doo, do do, do do, do doo...).
Anyone who happens to be humming the tune while taking in the Christmas lights should stop by Benjo Hinojosa's home. According to KENS5, Hinojosa synched 100,000 Christmas lights to flash during this catchy tune, and the result is an epic display of "Baby Shark" holiday magic.
Each year the family works with a different theme for jaw-dropping decor, and this year, they certainly nailed how parents are feeling in 2018.
The elementary school principal and his family reportedly started their tradition of creating a drive-by light display four years ago and they've been working to outdo themselves each year since. In addition to Baby Shark, this year's display also featuresĀ songs from the Disney movie "Coco."
The family keeps a donation box outside for people who stop by, and the proceeds will go to local families in need.
Why do we have a feeling that some parents are going to be willing to pay just to make more of the "Baby Shark" madness stop??
