If you’re a mom who has tried to shop with a teenager anytime recently, you know that the 1990s and 2000s are back with a vengeance.
From lacy tank tops meant to wear under cardigans and T-shirts to cargo pants with the biggest pockets, strolling through a store these days can feel like stepping back in time.
And while we can argue whether revisiting the past is a good or a bad thing, when it comes to childhood `90s toys, I think we can all agree that bringing back our beloved favorites is a very good thing indeed.
From Tamagotchis to Polly Pockets to that little baby spoon full of “magic” disappearing peas that we all knew and loved, here are 10 nostalgic ’90s toys you’ll find hitting the shelves again.
Original Tamagotchi - Pretty Party

Just look at that Tamagotchi and tell me she’s not a beauty? My fingers are just itching to check on her and make sure she’s okay…
This digital pet hails back to 1997, with all the OG features, like feeding it, giving it medicine, checking its health, taking it to the bathroom, and (hopefully) seeing it grow from egg to one of 7 adult characters.
There are also other fun designs to choose from, like “Lovely Angel” and “Tama Picnic.”
Polly Pocket Sparkle Cove Adventure Underwater Lagoon Compact Playset with Micro Doll & Accessories

My love for Polly Pocket has never waned, and it seems the younger generation is catching on to how downright cool these micro-sized toys are. Along with the “real” vintage Polly Pockets going for a pretty penny on used sites like eBay, retailers are once again offering Polly Pocket versions closer to the versions we remember.
For instance, this version looks like one of my first Polly Pockets, with a compact design that opens up to reveal tiny-yet-tons-of-fun in a shell-shaped package. The underwater lagoon set includes a micro doll, a dolphin animal friend, two gems, and can be filled with water for a trickle-down surprise.
Sky Dancers Turquoise Twinkle – The Original Flying Doll Toy

Does anyone else remember these?? Gosh, I loved my Sky Dancer — until it flew into the overhead fan and was never quite cleared for flying again, of course.
This toy is the original Sky Dancer (fun fact: did you know 30 million Sky Dancers have sold worldwide??), and one of my favorite features is that it doesn’t require batteries to soar high.
She’s operated by a pull string, so you can take her anywhere to fly, indoors or outside.
Lite-Brite Classic Retro Toy

The classic Lite-Brite retro toy has some modern updates that let even more kids enjoy the light-up fun. For instance, the pegs are bigger and wider, making them ideal for kids ages 4 and up to handle.
I will tell you that even if you think today’s modern screen-savvy kids won’t have fun with this toy, you’d probably be wrong. My children’s grandma bought us one and they absolutely love it, even the older ones. There’s just something about the hands-on creativity that appeals to the inner kid in all of us.
Care Bears 8 Inch Plush 4-Pack Treasure Box

I was never a huge Care Bears fan, but looking at these lil’ cuties, I get it now. While in many cases, the original toys can’t be improved upon, I would argue that these modern, pint-sized plush versions are far superior.
Standing at 8″ tall each, this treasure set includes four adorable Care Bears: Cheer Bear, Superstar Bear, Best Friend Bear, and Always Here Bear.
Furby Tie Dye Plush Toy

My apologies for bringing Furby back into your mind if you had (perhaps rightly so) blocked the creature from your memories.
But this furry, speaking toy is still around, comes in many new versions (like this confusing, long, extendable Furby?), and is still capable of uttering 600 phrases, jokes, and songs in both English and Furbish.
And as a bonus, if you buy two, the Furby Friends will interact with each other. Side note: Please tell me other people have memories of their younger siblings’ Furbies talking to each other even when the batteries were out??
Wicked Cool Toys Collectible Madison and Claire Dolls Cabbage Patch Kids,

The original and cuddly Cabbage Patch kids dolls are more of a collector’s item these days, but the brand has seen a reboot with its “Little Sprouts” line.
The Little Sprouts line features mini Cabbage Patch Kid figurines and accessories, and is ideal for younger hands to play with.
My Little Pony Magical Salon Pinkie Pie Toy - 6-Inch Hair Styling Fashion Pony

In my kids’ eyes, My Little Pony never went out of style as a toy, because they are quite literally littering my house right now, but if your house has not been so lucky, you can pick up a plethora of pony options that will bring you straight back to your 1990s childhood.
For instance, this version features hair-styling accessories for your budding hair stylist, complete with clip-in hair extensions and a curling iron.
Pixiecrush Girl's Ages 3 to 8 Mommy Dog and 4 Baby Puppies Stuffed Animals

Another apology is in order for that rather jump scare photo, but no 90s toys list would be complete without the toy that transformed all of us into amateur midwives. If your first delivery wasn’t a dubious C-section on a poor mother puppy, did you even have a real childhood?
This puppy version isn’t quite the same as the one we played with as kids (or watched on the commercials), but it still gets the job done.
My Sweet Love, Magic Baby Food Play Set, Doll Playsets for Children Ages 3+

Last but not least, we end our stroll back through time with the classic ’90s toy of the disappearing peas.
I feel like this toy does not even highlight how great the pea spoon is, but it’s still there, operating in that same magic disappearing way. This toy even has the added twist of a fork with some melting cheese action with a realistic cheese “pull.” (Side note: if cheese pull toys are your thing, you have to check out my daughter’s favorite melty grilled cheese toy, because even I am obsessed with playing with it.)
The fork can also dip into the sliced strawberries and apples for even more food fun.
