Toddler Spills Mom’s Secret on Video: ‘She Has a Hangover’

If you have any personal business, the best way to keep it personal is to not let your toddlers hear it. The beauty of young children is that they don’t understand all of the social graces that come with adulthood. They’re not yet able to distinguish which information should be kept private. Instead, all news is worthy of the front page. And if they have a chance to speak to someone, they’re going to tell it!

That’s what happened to one mother when she apparently sent her son to day care with a little too much information.

The mom says her son's day care sends her videos of him throughout the day.

Jen, a TikTok mom who goes by @daisy232713 on the video-sharing platform, recently shared a video that collectively tickled people online. The video begins with Jen holding the side of her head. She stares into space, looking just a tad bit mortified. The text over the image reads: “When you son’s daycare teacher sends you cute little videos.”

Charlie couldn't help but spill the tea when he was questioned by his day care teacher.

In the next clip, we see Jen’s son, Charlie, casually playing with a toy as his day care teacher talks to him.

“Where’s mommy?“ she asks.

“She’s sick,” Charlie replies.

The day care teacher prods further, “Why?”

“Because,” the boy answers.

“What does she have?” the day care worker asks.

“A hangover,” Charlie answers, smiling as he realizes he’s said something amusing. The adults in the room burst out laughing.

Jen claims she's innocent.

In the caption for the video, Jen writes: “I DIDN’T EVEN DRINK LAST NIGHT.”

Poor Jen. Charlie is out here telling her old business. Evidently, Charlie’s seen enough to know what a hangover is, and that’s more than enough Intel.

In the comments section, other mothers shared the often embarrassing things their children have said about them.

Other moms chimed in with equally embarrassing stories their toddlers had shared.

“My three years told a bunch of our church friends at McDonalds that mommy needed to ‘get off the coke,’" one user wrote. “I was trying to not drink caffeine,” she explained.

Another person's daughter did the same thing, but her oversharing moments didn’t stop there. “The best was when she told the class what a colonoscopy was and that’s what I was doing that day,” the mom wrote.

Hopefully, this was all done in fun.

Thankfully, Jen and her son’s day care teachers seem to have a lovely relationship and everyone was able to laugh about it. Hopefully, there’s not too much judgment.

But if that's not the case, one user had the perfect solution for toddler talk. “I always told my son’s teachers, ‘I won’t believe everything he says about you if you don’t believe everything he says about me,'” she suggested in the comments.
