15 Celebrities Who Are Chronic Oversharers

OK, we have to make one thing perfectly clear: Calling a celebrity a chronic oversharer might sound like we're throwing shade. But, hello! We are obsessed with celebrity gossip and drama and feuds and rumors, so we love the oversharer. We live for the TMI, for the moments when celebs drop their guard and confess to having all the same weird body moments, petty beefs, and embarrassing crushes that all the rest of have to deal with in our boring, regular person lives.

So let's consider this list more of a celebration than a moment for side-eye. Yes, sometimes the oversharers in question might regret being so frank. And yes, sometimes a little bit of poop talk goes a long way (especially for those moms who are still in the potty training trenches and dealing with poop and pee all day, every day). But really, who doesn't like to have a little glimpse into a celebrity sex life care of Angelina Jolie or to find out just how much weed a celebrity might smoke (hello, unapologetic pothead Seth Rogan)?

Here, we've rounded up 14 living celebs (and one who has sadly passed away) who are our lead finalists for best celebrity in the chronic oversharing competition. Let the games begin, and may the odds be ever in their TMI favor!

Chrissy Teigen

Before she quit Twitter (apparently mostly for good this time), there was no question that Chrissy Teigen was one of the queens of oversharing. From mostly naked pictures to stories about her plastic surgery choices and exactly how soon after meeting she and husband John Legend had sex, there has been little that was off-limits for Chrissy.

Miley Cyrus

Miley Cyrus isn't afraid to let it all hang out. Not only is she comfortable in her skin and in plenty of half-naked pictures, but she's been candid about her sexuality, her experiences with drugs and drinking, her former husband's "good d—- game," and even about her preteen crush on Minnie Mouse (what?). She's an open — and sometimes a bit messy — book.

Denise Richards

Look, nobody ends up on a Real Housewives franchise by being private, demure, or shy. Still, it was a pretty big overshare for Denise Richards to tell people that she was "on the hunt" to find someone to give her husband a massage that included a "happy ending" (PSA: that is a NSFW Google). Wow — that is a lot, but so is that fact that she revealed she'd been on the receiving end of that kind of, um, special treatment herself.

Whitney Houston & Bobby Brown

Whitney Houston should always be remembered for being one of the best singers of all time. And we do remember her amazing pipes, but we also can't forget the incredibly awkward 2005 moment on the show Being Bobby Brown when Bobby recounted that he'd manually helped Whitney relieve some constipation by removing poop from her body with his hands. Oh no. Noooooo. We don't need to know that, even if Whitney herself described it as an act of love.

Angelina Jolie

To be fair to Angelina Jolie, she's not nearly the oversharer that she used to be. Back in the Billy Bob Thornton days, though, we all knew way too much about their sex life, including one red carpet interview when the former couple revealed that they'd had sex in the car on their way to the MTV Movie Awards. That plus the details about knives, blood, and other rather kinky antics still earns her a spot on the TMI list.

Kelly Clarkson

Kelly Clarkson always gives that best friend vibe. Like, we can imagine her as just another one of our friends sitting on the porch, sipping wine, and swapping stories. One story she could swap — because she already shared it on her talk show — was about being hit with a sudden poop situation and having to go in a trash can, leaving it "destroyed."

Seth Rogen

Maybe we're a little old-fashioned, but we remember when smoking weed was a lot more illegal and a lot more taboo (at least in some places), so most celebs kept pretty quiet about their pot usage. Not Seth Rogen, though, who has proudly shared that he smokes "all day, every day," and has for 25 years.

Cardi B

Cardi B has a larger-than-life personality and sense of style, and one of the things that her fans appreciate about her is that she always keeps it real — even if real is about farts. For example, she shared that she'd been "farting all day" due to nerves during a red carpet moment in 2018. Relatable but a total overshare, so welcome to the list, Cardi!

Adele

Oh, Adele. We love you and we love that you are a hands-on kind of mom. But we probably could have lived without knowing that you pick your kid's nose and then roll up the boogers and flick them across the room. She shared this anecdote in 2016, prompting fans to wonder why one of the most successful singers of all time apparently doesn't have access to a box of tissues.

Jessica Simpson

Jessica Simpson's tendency to overshare made her a fan favorite on her MTV reality show Newlyweds, and it made her memoir, Open Book, one of the best celebrity memoirs of all time (no, we aren't even kidding a little bit). It does, however, also lead to moments like her sharing during an interview that she doesn't brush her teeth every day because she doesn't want them to feel too slippery. Yikes!

Jada Pinkett Smith

Jada Pinkett Smith is host of her own talk show and not afraid to get messy with discussions about sex, love, and marriage. She's been shockingly open about the challenges in her marriage to Will Smith, including infidelity on both sides and the role that sex does and doesn't play in a long-term relationship.

Taylor Swift

This one is a potentially controversial addition to the list. While Taylor Swift never gets graphic about sex or bodily fluids, some people feel that she overshares about her relationships through her music. Others think she's just mining her real life in the service of great art. We'll let the imaginary jury decide if she's an oversharer, but we'll state for the record that the 10-minute version of All Too Well is BOMB and we love every gossipy detail about it.

Gwyneth Paltrow

Gwyneth Paltrow might not be the first name that comes to mind when we think of oversharing celebs, but please remember that this is a woman who sells a candle that she claims smells like her vagina and who has a lucrative hustle going of selling vibrators and jade eggs meant to go in said vagina. She's an oversharer who is making big money off of it!

Charlie Sheen

Charlie Sheen is a one of those celebs whose oversharing veers from gossipy fun to "Dude, are you OK?" territory. He's spoken on the record about everything from sex with sex workers and porn stars, to drug use, to gambling, to claiming he can cure his own addictions with just the power of his own mind.

Kayne West

Another celeb who seems to have basically no impulse control when it comes to saying whatever comes to mind is Kanye West. Whether his tendency to speak out about everything from his sex life and his offensive views on slavery to his frustration with his soon-to-be ex-wife is a reflection of his temperament, his documented struggles with mental health, or his genius creative side is hard to say. But it's also hard to look away once he gets going.
