For some moms, there is nothing more exciting than when your kid goes to school and you can finally volunteer in the classroom. Being a room mom or a PTA chairperson or the one in charge of the blood drive is right up some moms' alleys. Others don't want anything to do with that business. And they'll do everything in their power to avoid it.
Casey Neal posted on her TikTok, @nealfamilychaos, about her proud status as a "Venmo Mom." She doesn't want to volunteer, but she does want to contribute. Tell her what you need, and she'll send you the money. Her hot take on back to school went viral, and many moms asked where to send the money.

Neal isn't going to volunteer.
She explains in her video that "Meet the Teacher" is a stressful event for her because she knows all eyes start looking for volunteers. She makes it very clear her kids will be at school on time and they'll do their homework, but she's not putting in extra hours at school. "I do not want to be involved at all," she explains.
She wants the school to be successful.
Neal will 100% contribute to her kids’ classrooms, but it will be with cash, not sweat equity. "I'll Venmo money right over," she says.
Neal claims she met her kids' teachers and successfully avoided signing up to volunteer. She ends her video by saying she's a "Venmo Mom" and that's just fine with her.
Lots of parents agreed with her approach.
There are plenty of people on Team Venmo who love Neal's take.
This mom will give you all the cash you need: "I'll literally pay for the entire event, just don't make me actually go ," she commented.
This mom will get involved a little bit: "I am a Venmo mom with a side of field trip mom."
The volunteer moms appreciate the Venmo moms.
It takes all kinds of people to make a school successful. The volunteers told Neal not to discount her contribution, such as this mom who wrote, "As a PTO and room mom we appreciate the send money moms. A place for everyone! Lol."
And this one who commented, "As a room mom, I love Venmo moms!"
Neal replied, "We appreciate the room moms too!"

Don't worry. The teachers are stressed, too.
One teacher commented, "Ma'am, I'm a teacher and don't want to be involved in meeting the teacher. "
And this teacher felt Neal's thoughts in her soul: "I'm a teacher AND a Venmo mom."
We believe that every mom is important. Whether you're the volunteer mom, the Venmo mom, or the mom who's a mix of both, we appreciate your hard work and we see you. Thanks for all you do.
