When our children are away from us, we want them to be safe. We teach them "stranger danger" and exactly what to do if they are ever in a scary situation. But no matter how hard we try, we can't be with them 24 hours a day. We take them to school and leave them with a wish and a prayer that all is well until we meet again every day. That's enough, isn't it? Your child would never leave school with a stranger, right?
A mom on TikTok actually recounted receiving a phone call from her daughter's school that changed her life. The school had called to inform her that her daughter had been leaving with a strange man every day, and it definitely wasn't her dad.
This story obviously had to be shared on TikTok. She had to warn other moms, didn't she?
Originally posted back in 2020, TikTok mom @heyshantaqtv's scary story has resurfaced as the 2022-23 school year is now fully underway and moms are struggling to keep up with the busy fall season.
@heyshantaqtv's sounds audibly shaken in the video. "So I received a call from my daughter's school saying that she had been leaving the school with a strange man every day," she shared in the clip. The mother said she was trembling and her heart was pounding. She wondered how this could be happening.
The mom had a great relationship with her daughter's school.
The mom explained that she has always had a great relationship with her daughter's school and wanted staff to keep her informed of anything strange that might be happening with her child.
If school personnel saw the little girl leave with anyone other than her family, the school was to contact her immediately. That is just what staff did.
The caller had a good description of the man.
Thankfully, school staff members got a good look at the man and the person on the phone was able to describe him to the mom in great detail.
"They said he was tall, stubby, looked like he was out of shape. His hair was fragile. He had a light mustache."
She said that she was just "shaken."
The strange man was caught on surveillance video.
The mom wanted to see this horrible man who was taking her daughter after school. Luckily, school staff was able to provide her with a photo.
When she saw it, she couldn't believe her eyes. "My heart started beating. I started whimpering," she shared. "I was shocked. It was me without my wig!"

Mom life is a hard life. No matter how hard we try, we never get it 100% right all the time. Can you honestly be on the PTA, make cupcakes for the bake sale, volunteer for the bus stop, take care of your family, job, and house, and be runway-ready all at the same time? No, it's just not realistic.
