Snarky comments Kailyn Lowry made on social media during a lake vacation show that she really doesn’t care what haters say. Critics, including her ex Javi Marroquin, have suggested that Kailyn hasn’t been focusing on being a mom to her seven children. In an Instagram Live rant, Javi alleged that Kailyn has been more interested in her alleged new boyfriend and has neglected to pick her children up from school. In posts from her family lake vacation, the Teen Mom alum appeared to poke fun at the allegations.
Kailyn Lowry had a snarky response for the haters.
Ahead of the Fourth of July holiday weekend, Kailyn and three of her kids — 15-year-old Elliott, 7-year-old Lux, and 4-year-old Creed — traveled to Lake Wallenpaupack in Pennsylvania. On Instagram, she shared several photos from the family trip, captioning one of the posts with, “I live for days like these.”
She also shared some photos with captions that directly addressed the allegations that she’s not an involved mom. In one photo, she smiled for the camera while sitting next to her son Lux during a boat ride. Over the photo, she wrote, “Being neglectful and pretending to be present.”

With some of her sarcastic captions, Kailyn responded to claims that she relies on a nanny to care for her children. She captioned a photo of her and the three kids with, “The nanny & all the kids.” Then, when she shared a photo that she took of Creed holding a fish, she captioned it with, “The around the clock nanny took this.”
Her sarcastic comments come a month after her ex publicly criticized her.
Kailyn made headlines in June 2025 when Javi took to Instagram to accuse her of dating a new man and not prioritizing her children. On June 2, Javi hinted that Kailyn actually broke up with Elijah Scott a while ago and has been dating someone else for months. He claimed this had impacted Lincoln, the son they share.
“[Kail] doesn’t pick him up from school, is late to … [Lincoln’s] sporting events,” he claimed. “She doesn’t know about Lincoln’s events, so an hour before game time I have to scramble around.”
Commenting on her alleged new boyfriend, Javi added that he’s “sure [the new boyfriend] had sleepovers.” He called the whole situation “mind-blowing” because he couldn’t comprehend how “a mother could do this to her children.”
Not long before her vacation, Kailyn responded to Javi’s claims.
Kailyn hasn’t totally confirmed or denied Javi’s claims, but has implied that he’s not telling the whole story. On her podcast Coffee Convos, Kailyn said “the amount of details that he left out” is “diabolical.”
During an interview with Parade, Kailyn said she’ll share more information with the general public when she’s ready to do so. “If [people] want to believe Javi, that’s fine,” she told the publication. “I have never spoken on some of the things that Javi put out there. And so, you know, when I’m ready to talk about any of it, I’m gonna just address it all at one time.”
