Donald Trump & Jeffrey Epstein Reportedly Had ‘Competition’ To Sleep With Princess Diana

For most of Princess Diana‘s life in the spotlight, she was married to then-Prince Charles, but after the couple went their separate ways in 1992, she was back on the market again. And once she was single, apparently, two very infamous men were so convinced that they could catch Diana’s eye that they reportedly entered into a very twisted competition to see who could get there first.

Princess Diana was (obviously) beautiful and carried a lot of social capital.

During an appearance on the Daily Beast’s Inside Trump’s Head podcast, journalist and President Donald Trump biographer Michael Wolff said that both he and Jeffrey Epstein reportedly wanted to win Diana over — along with the major move up the social ladder that would come with being attached to the princess.

“They had a competition, Trump and Epstein,” he said. “Of who would be the one, the first one to sleep with Princess Diana? … They just understood, what could you get from these people? Both Trump and Epstein. What can you get from somebody, is the question you would always ask about anybody.”

Trump reportedly tried to make his move after her divorce from Charles.

As the Daily Beast pointed out, back in 2015, the Sunday Times reported that Trump saw Diana as “the ultimate trophy wife” and tried to win her over by sending rather ostentatious bouquets to Kensington Palace after her split from Charles.

“As the roses and orchids piled up at her apartment she became increasingly concerned about what she should do. It had begun to feel as if Trump was stalking her,” British reporter and friend of Diana’s Selina Scott wrote in the Times, via People.

Selina said that Diana said Trump “gives me the creeps,” adding, “When she died in the tragic accident in Paris in 1997, Trump told friends his biggest regret was that they hadn’t dated. He said that he always thought he had a chance of romance and would have had a ‘shot’ with her.”

During a 1997 interview with Howard Stern just months after Diana died, Trump said he “could have” slept with Diana if she had submitted to an HIV test first.

According to People, Trump spoke about Diana again with Howard three months later, saying, “Lady Di was truly a woman with great beauty. I’ve seen her a couple of times. She was really beautiful, and people didn’t realize that beautiful. She was supermodel beautiful. She had the height, she had the beauty, she had the skin, the whole thing.”

Trump’s team has denied Michael’s claims.

In a statement to the Daily Beast, White House Communications Director Steven Cheung called Michael Wolff “a lying sack of s—.”

“He routinely fabricates stories originating from his sick and warped imagination, only possible because he has a severe and debilitating case of Trump Derangement Syndrome that has rotted his peanut-sized brain,” he added.
