Taylor Swift & Travis Kelce Already Planning a ‘Private’ & Low-Key Wedding

Less than a month after Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce announced their engagement to the world, we already have our first insights into what kind of wedding they might be planning. But if any fans were hoping that Taylor and Travis are planning to go big for this event, they might want to adjust their expectations. According to what a source close to the future newlyweds told People this week, they’re actually planning to avoid creating a “spectacle” at all costs.

The insider said that when it comes to their wedding, Taylor and Travis “want to keep it more private.” This makes sense, given the fact that they’ve managed to strike a good balance between sharing their love for each other publicly and keeping the personal parts of their relationship private over the last two years so far.

“It will definitely be a private affair and not a spectacle. They both have a close circle of friends, and they’ll respect their privacy,” they said.

That doesn’t mean they aren’t excited to share their love with their family and friends, and the source added that Taylor is “still showing off” her impressively large engagement ring.

“She’s incredibly happy,” they said. “It’s all just perfect.”

Though the couple has yet to officially announce any wedding plans, a different source told Page Six that Taylor and Travis are reportedly hoping to tie the knot in Rhode Island, where Taylor owns her famous “Holiday House” in Watch Hill.

“They are getting married next summer in Rhode Island. She is in a hurry to have children,” the outlet’s source said.

It’s worth pointing out that this is conflicting with other reports from sources that have claimed Taylor and Travis are taking their time and are simply enjoying their engagement right now and are putting off the stress of planning for a bit while they celebrate.

“Right now they just want to enjoy being engaged, and they are going to take their time with it,” an insider told People in August. “It has been a relief not having to keep it a secret anymore, and they are glad it is out in the open.”
