Women Slam Men Who Complain About Going to Costco With Their Wives

There is nothing that will turn off women more than men acting as though having a wife is so awful. Honestly, if all you want to do is complain about your partner, a la Al Bundy in Married…With Children, then by all means, please seek out a divorce attorney, like, yesterday. Most of the men in a TikTok where the user asks men to rate their Costco experience with their wife on a scale of 1 to 10 have nothing but negative things to say.

It’s not cute. It’s not funny. It’s not attractive. There is nothing appealing about a culture of complaining about your wife because she’s, what, trying to find the best deals for the sake of your family? Boy, bye. Luckily, a woman on TikTok made her own response video, imitating the apparently miserable husbands at Costco. She is now my hero.

The men thought it was funny that they hate going to Costco with their wives.

In the original Costco video, a voice behind the camera asks random male Costco shoppers how they like shopping at the wholesale store with their wives. Some men say the experience rates a “zero” on a scale from 1 to 10, and another asks, “Can I say negative?” I mean, can I say that negative attitude has got to go?

The lone husband who should always have the cool side of the pillow, never get stuck at a red light, and always get the 30 second ads rather than the two-minute ads on YouTube is an older man in the video. He says that he and his wife go to Costco “all the time” and he gives the experience a “nine or 10.” For the other guys, though, women in the comments were not here for their shenanigans and cheeky responses.

“They’re pushing the cart while their wife is probably planning the meals and finding the ingredients,” someone pointed out.

Another user wrote, “Being mean to your significant other behind their back as humor has never made sense to me.” Preach, bb.

“Men aren’t lonely enough,” another woman wrote in the comments under the TikTok.

In the response video from another user, she plays a different man in each scene and plays up the male rage against wives. From one of her characters calling his fictional wife some choice swear words, to others getting annoyed just because they have to answer the question, all of the reactions are very much the vibe of the original.

On that video, someone commented, “I HATE wife hating humor. Like, just leave if you’re so miserable. You don’t need to drag her down with you.”

Honestly, it has never made sense to me why it’s funny to hate your spouse. What’s the joke? That you have a partner to love and experience life with. Cool cool cool.

Another user added, “It’s insane how many of these men hate their wives.” Thankfully, we can all strive to someday have a husband like the elderly man who willingly says his Costco experience with his wife is at least a nine every time. Give this man a free Costco membership, please.
