What to Know
Meghan Trainor has made a major transformation in her appearance over the last couple of years, and people can’t stop talking about it. While much of the conversation has revolved around her weight, now, fans and critics are zeroing in on something different: her teeth.
There’s now a major debate happening online about Meghan’s pearly whites, and let’s just say it seems to be bringing out the worst in people.
Critics noticed something about Meghan’s face seemed to look different.
While discussing photos of Meghan throughout her weight loss journey on Reddit, some critics pointed out that something looks different about her face.
“I’m not sure whether it’s the weight loss or too much Botox? A facelift pulled too tight? Her body looks fit, but her face looks a bit severe,” one person wrote.
Others speculated that it might be her bangs that made her look so different.
In the end, it seemed to come down to her teeth.
Many people agreed that what was bothering them about Meghan’s face were her veneers… and they weren’t exactly kind about it, either. One commenter even wrote that she’s now giving “sleep paralysis demon vibes.”
One person shared the opinion that Meghan’s new teeth might be too “uniform” to look natural.
“Everyone looks older to me with bad veneers,” another Redditor contributed. “It looks like they lost them, and wearing these fake teeths that old people do… bc these teeths don’t look like something you would voluntary do to yourself.”
Meghan has been clear that she isn’t a big fan of all the talk about the way she looks.
Meghan hasn’t tried to hide the fact that she has lost weight with the help of GLP-1 medication Mounjaro, and shared a post on Instagram responding to the comments she was getting about her appearance back in March.
“No, I don’t look like I did 10 years ago,” she wrote. “I’ve been on a journey to be the healthiest, strongest version of myself for my kids and for me. I’ve worked with a dietician, made huge lifestyle changes, started exercising with a trainer, and yes, I used science and support (shoutout to Mounjaro!) to help me after my 2nd pregnancy. And I’m so glad I did because I feel great.”
As long as Meghan is feeling great about these changes, that’s all that matters — though it doesn’t seem like discussion about the singer’s changing looks is going to slow down anytime soon.
