Cindy Crawford’s Son Presley Gerber Shares ‘Scary’ Mental Health Struggle

Opening up about your mental health isn’t easy, especially after growing up in the spotlight as the son of one of the most famous supermodels in the world. Earlier this month, Cindy Crawford‘s 26-year-old son, Presley Gerber, shared a candid update on how he’s coping — including his exact medication regimen.

This isn’t the first time he’s opened up about his struggles, and this time, his honesty is earning him a lot of support online.

Presley shared a long video on Instagram.

Stating that he believes that “honesty is the best policy,” Presley decided to list off all of the different meds he takes each day as a way of updating his followers on his mental health progress so far.

“Here’s some clarity for ya – the truth will set you free (hopefully) haha,” he wrote in his caption.

He shared the different medications he takes each day.

According to Presley, he’s currently on a regimen of various medications including antidepressants, benzodiazepines, and opiates. He said he is also treated with ketamine drips, and takes certain medications like Xanax and Valium as needed for his more acute symptoms.

“The benzos have been fluctuating up and down depending on what’s been going on in my life,” he said. “Unfortunately, I’ve had a lot of loss in many different forms recently, so that is not an excuse, but it’s the reason why I am where I’m at now.”

“All these doctors say a lot of different things, so it’s kind of scary, but hopefully between my research and their research and God, we can figure this out,” he continued, adding that he does hope to taper off of some of his medications in the future.

His mom left a supportive comment on the video, writing, “Presley — we love you and you are not alone.”

This isn’t the first time he’s opened up about his mental health struggles.

In 2019, Presley was arrested and charged with a DUI that led to him eventually facing three years of probation. During his 2023 appearance on the Studio 22 podcast, Presley opened up about why he feels it’s so important to be honest about his mental health, especially after everything he’s been through himself.

“So, for me and having struggled with mental health, depression and some other things that come along with that, I think that whether I help one person or a hundred people get out of that place that I was in at one point in my life, that’s all I need to do,” he said.
