What to Know
In the months since the death of her father, legendary musician Ozzy Osbourne, people have been noticing a lot of changes in Kelly Osbourne, particularly when it comes to her appearance. After she’s shared several photos on social media where fans have deemed her unrecognizable, many of her followers are concerned. But don’t worry, Kelly’s seen the comments about her body, and she’s not very impressed by them, either.
Kelly took her followers to task on her Instagram Stories.
Though Kelly’s Instagram Stories post about the situation has since expired, according to Entertainment Weekly, she shared a screenshot of some of the comments she’s been receiving about her body recently, including one comparing her to a “dead body.”
“Literally can’t believe how disgusting some human beings truly are!” she wrote above the screenshot in her post. “No one deserves this sort of abuse.”
In the next slide, Kelly added, “This too shall pass, but like, holy f—.”
Comments like these have been popping up on Kelly’s social media pretty regularly.
Over the past few months, fans have noticed that Kelly’s body has changed, and many of them have been quite outspoken about it while responding to her posts.
“Omg she looks so skinny that her hands look bigger than her waist,” said one such comment on a recent post, while another follower wrote, “Kelly, as an ex addict like your father, I hope you’re not going down that road. And that it’s something else that you can manage. It’s really a slippery slope, even if it’s an eating disorder. You’ve lost a lot of weight since the funeral. Please be well.”
This isn’t the first time Kelly has spoken out about comments people are making about her appearance.
In a December 2025 post on Instagram that Kelly later deleted, she explained that her appearance was a reflection of the grieving process she was in.
“My dad just died, and I’m doing the best that I can, and the only thing I have to live for right now is my family,” she wrote at the time. “And I choose to share my content with you and share the happy side of my life not the miserable side of my life.”
In general, it’s usually not a great idea to make a comment about anyone‘s body, including a stranger who lives in the public eye. Hopefully, Kelly is doing okay — she’s been open about the fact that losing her dad has truly been a struggle for her.
