Meghan Markle Is Being Accused of Copying Hollywood’s Most Iconic Photoshoots

When it comes to Meghan Markle‘s haters, there is no limit to what the duchess of Sussex does wrong. Whether she posts a cringe social media video or appears to look bored or otherwise fake during humanitarian visits to other countries, Markle has no shortage of critics. We aren’t here to determine if she deserves as much hate as she gets, but Markle does sometimes put herself in these positions.

So when someone on X posted photos of Markle allegedly stealing photoshoot ideas from royals and other famous people, it was another strike against her. Apparently, though, Markle can get more than three strikes before she’s out. Because as much as she does to irk those who just can’t stand her, they do keep talking about her.

One of Meghan Markle’s photos looks exactly like one of Princess Diana.

In the X post, the user shared an image of Markle next to Princess Diana. The two women are both pictured in black and white and sitting cross legged in a studio. They also both have on white tops and black pants. There’s also a side-by-side image of Markle with actress Angelina Jolie. In these photos, the women have similar pantsuits on and they both sit high on stools while doing almost identical poses.

The user who shared the photos in their post wrote, “What do you call a person who goes through life copying other people’s personalities?”

The Princess Diana photo might be able to be explained by Markle wanting to emulate, or pay homage to, the late member of the British Royal Family and her husband’s mother. But then we have the photo Markle took that looks so similar to Jolie’s that it’s a real head scratcher. Someone even boldly commented on the post, “Reminds me of ‘what you ordered vs. what you got.'”

Critics don’t love how she presents herself in her photos.

Markle’s version of the photos that she appears to have copied, or at least been inspired by are not winning over any of her haters. In fact, Markle’s photos are just more fodder for people to poke fun at her and accuse her of trying to portray someone who they don’t believe she is.

“A malignant narcissist and psychopath,” an X user wrote, of Markle. “She’s scary, weird, and out of touch.”

“The picture of her next to Diana is creepy as hell,” another user wrote. “Diana is relaxed, smiling, natural looking. MM has a psychopath expression on her face staring at the camera.”

An X user also wrote, “She’s exhibiting some kind of obsession disorder but I’m not a psychiatrist.  I wonder if Princess Catherine cut her hair, if Meghan would cut hers the next day.”

However, someone else added, “The number of people (not even models) who have these exact shots is astounding. These are so basic. Not sure why you think she should invent her own poses.”

Meghan Markle’s authenticity is often called into question.

According to Markle’s harshest critics, she is inauthentic, her brand As Ever is cringe, and she presents a certain persona on social media and even at public events with Prince Harry that aren’t true to who she is. Whether or not that’s accurate of Markle, she definitely has a lot of critics who readily criticize her and her actions.

“Meghan Markle likes people to think she is intelligent and creative,” someone wrote in a lengthy X comment. “She really does believe she is. But the opposite is true.  She hadn’t got an ounce of creativity. If she did, she wouldn’t need to be an online stalker of successful, famous women and copy their every move. She obviously can’t think of ways to pose naturally at a photo shoot so has to copy others. She couldn’t think of anything to sell so she copied the king and started selling jam.”
