Woman Shares List of the Worst Things Her Ex-Husband Did During Their Marriage at Divorce Party

Getting divorced can be hard, but apparently, it doesn’t have to be. A woman on TikTok, Abbey Wellman, proved that when she posted a video from her divorce party wherein she had a list of the top worst things her ex-husband did during their marriage. And yes, divorce parties are definitely a thing. For some divorcees, they are a must for totally purging their lives when the marriage is over.

For Abbey, part of that purge was admitting to some of the things she dealt with during her marriage. She might not have wanted to admit to her now ex-husband’s shortcomings while they were still together, but after the marriage was over, she probably felt she could finally offload at least some of his more embarrassing or awful actions.

People want the tea on the woman’s list about her ex-husband.

In the video, Abbey wrote on the screen, “POV: You’re reading the top 10 worst things my ex-husband did during our marriage at my divorce party.” Then, there are shots of party goers reading from a list placed on the bar.

From shocked faces to smiles born out of reading the tea on someone’s former relationship, it’s clear that Abbey had a lot to say about how her ex treated her during their marriage. Even the bartender in the video has a shocked expression on his face.

But the big takeaway for others on TikTok is that you can’t actually make out what the sign says. In the video, Abbey doesn’t zoom in on the list of things that her ex did. Instead, there is a compilation of reactions. And sure, that’s all well and good, but the people crave drama and tea, in that order.

“There’s something so validating about getting reactions like that, like, ‘yes, it really was that bad,'” a TikTok user commented on the video.

“My fomo is fomo’ing right now,” someone else wrote.

Another person joked, “It’s been 17 hours since you got us all involved. Where is the picture, ma’am?!”

Everyone at the party had shocked reactions to the list.

Because the party goers in the video have such surprised expressions on their faces after reading Abbey’s list at her divorce party, people are even more inclined to want to know what her ex did. There isn’t any evidence in Abbey’s other videos. In fact, it looks like she has been divorced for quite some time. But her ex had to have been kind of awful to warrant a whole divorce party.

There is an older video on her account of her dancing with a man who appears to be the ex in question. In the video, Abbey dances while her husband is a little more stiff and then takes up camera space as what appears to be a joke. But for some users, it’s all the evidence they need to know who this guy is.

When someone commented, “So is this the guy from the board,” another responded, “Hahaha we must’ve been scrolling here at the same time. I don’t know what that board said but this tells me I believe her.”

Another commented to say that he looks “ultra divorceable.”

It’s not totally clear when Abbey and her husband split up, but at some point between mid-2025 and June 2026, she posted about him less and less. TikTok isn’t a blog (for everyone, that is), so she didn’t share a video about what happened. But after her divorce party post, people are itching for more details.

Yes, divorce parties are a thing.

Abbey isn’t the first, or last, person to have a divorce party to celebrate the end of a marriage that didn’t serve her. Whatever the reason was for Abbey and her ex ending things for good, it was clearly the right move. So why not celebrate that move with a party? In another TikTok video about divorce parties in general, women shared how they used the party as an opportunity to start over.

One woman wrote, “We hosted a divorce party a few months ago! We had the ultimate girls night and staged her whole house, everyone brought something for girl dinner (aka appetizers and desserts), did some crafts, and drank some wine. We celebrate everything.”
