The Kardashian-Jenner family is no stranger to celebrity dads in the family sharing the stage with their kids. Kanye West has done it with North West and now, Kylie Jenner‘s ex Travis Scott did it with their daughter, Stormi Webster. Stormi joined her dad on-stage during his Fanatics Fest performance on July 19, 2026, and even though the moment was supposed to be a total “aww” fest for the dad of two, some people saw the interaction another way.
Users on social media quickly called out Travis for bringing his 8-year-old daughter on-stage and seemingly forgetting she was even there. Maybe he’s just so used to other people making sure Stormi has a hand to hold or an adult to guide her that he got caught up in his performance. But when clips and photos came out showing the little girl looking a bit lost behind her dad on the stage, people came for the controversial rapper.

In a clip from Travis’ Fanatics Fest set that was posted on X (formerly Twitter), a timid Stormi joins him on the stage. She follows him back and forth, staying behind him, as he sings to the audience and she seems to sing along to the lyrics herself. But the user who posted the video pointed out one big problem with the clip.

Users commented to say that Travis had a “total lack of awareness” and that Stormi “looks so overwhelmed” on-stage with him. To be fair, she seems to relax a little more as the clip goes on, but she’s still just a child on a stage in front of tons of screaming fans. It’s a lot for anyone, and a little squeeze of the hand or something similar would have gone a long way.
On a Reddit thread about Stormi’s appearance, critics had other thoughts, though they were also along the lines of protecting Stormi as a kid and maybe not bringing on-stage at a loud live concert event.
“I have thoughts but all I wanna comment is that I hope she is wearing earplugs,” one user commented.
“The poor kid…he’s completely ignoring her,” another person wrote. “He takes her hand at one point but doesn’t look at her, then lets go and has his back to her the rest of the time. She doesn’t even know what to do with herself.”
Some Critics slammed Travis Scott for his lyrics.
The song Travis is performing in the clip is “FE!N,” which is hardly appropriate for kids, though Stormi seems to know the lyrics, which only adds to the criticism of Travis for bringing her out on the stage with him. On the same Reddit thread, a user called out Travis for “horrible dead beat parenting” and someone agreed with them and commented that the “FE!N” lyrics are so inappropriate for Stormi.
According to Genius, some of the lyrics to that particular song are, “Yeah, I just been poppin’ my s–t and gettin’ it live, hold up. Yeah, you try to come wrong ’bout this s–t, we poppin’ your tires, hold up…Playin’ both sides with these hoes, shawty, I’m f–king your friend.”
He has two kids with Kylie Jenner.
Travis and Kylie got together in 2017, according to People. They welcomed their first child, Stormi, together the following year. Then, in February 2022, they had their second child, their son, Aire Webster. In early 2023, they broke up, though they still appear to co-parent pretty well. As with most of the fathers involved with their kids in the Kardashian-Jenner family, Travis is ingrained in the family, even if he and Kylie are no longer together.
