Tess Holliday is used to dealing with haters on social media, so of course she was perfectly prepared to clap back at the latest round of negativity. After she got some nasty comments for sharing new swimsuit photos on Facebook, Tess returned to post even more photos from her day out on a yacht, along with proof that she didn’t alter the original picture the way people accused her of doing.
Tess shared a photo of herself in a bikini.
Things must have gotten out of hand on one of Tess’ recent posts, because she shared a photo of herself looking fabulous and unbothered on a yacht, wearing a green bikini with the gorgeous coastline behind her.
“Another photo of me on a yacht in Italy just because my haters loved it so much,” she wrote, adding that she was “feeling blessed.”
In the comments, she shared a little love for those who have always been rooting her on, despite the trolls who might show up on her posts: “For the ones showing me love: thank you! To everyone else: I hope you find the love within in yourself that you clearly need.”
She also came armed with proof that no AI was involved.
In another comment on the same post, Tess shared the unedited version of the picture she posted, which was darker and blurrier than the one that made the final cut. Apparently, people were accusing Tess of using AI on this photo, but she’s here with the receipts to prove all she did was brighten the picture up a little.
“To anyone dumb enough of accusing me of doing AI this is the original photo I brightened my face,” she explained. “I was unaware that it made it look all weird but I don’t use AI and you guys can kick rocks.”
This earned her all kinds of praise from fans who were more than happy to see her stick up for herself. “You are gorgeous and encouraging others to be comfortable in their own skin is a beautiful thing,” one person wrote in reply. “Thank you for putting up with the nonsense!!!”
That wasn’t all she had to say to her haters, either.
The same day that Tess shared the photo of herself in the ocean, she returned to Facebook to offer up a few more words to people who somehow think her body is “the most interesting thing about me.”
“I’m too busy living my life, loving myself, raising my kids, working, laughing, creating, and actually being happy,” she wrote. “Maybe if some of you spent a little less time obsessing over the size of my body and a little more time tending to your own lives, you’d be happier too.”
Tess might have a point there. After all, she’s having way more fun on that yacht than the people who are hating from outside of the club.
