Harry & Meghan Are Barely Back in the UK & People Say the Palace Is Already Worried They’ll Overshadow Prince George

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle probably still haven’t even unpacked from their move back to the UK, and the royals appear to be concerned about it for a really weird reason.

According to one royal expert, the palace thinks that Prince George‘s first day at Eton College will be overshadowed by Meghan and Harry being back in the UK somehow, leading to some strange speculation about what might be going on in the family’s long running feud at this point.

Supposedly, Harry and Meghan have already agreed they won’t try to steal George’s thunder on the first day of school.

According to what a royal expert told Fox News Digital, the palace is stressed out enough that Harry and Meghan might do something on George’s first day at Eton that could draw the attention away from him that the couple had to come to some sort of agreement with King Charles.

“The Sussexes have assured the king that they will not hijack or derail major royal events, notably the first day of school term for Prince George at Eton,” broadcaster Neil Sean said. “By that, no pictures or comment from either one on that day in September.”

Kensington Palace refused to comment on the rumor, and Archewell told Fox, ‘this is not something we would comment on,” so whether or not this actually happened is anybody’s guess.

It is a big deal that George is going to Eton — he’s following in William and Harry’s footsteps, and it’s his first time at boarding school, which is going to be a huge change for the entire family. But is the palace actually worried that Meghan and Harry would steal his spotlight?

Royal watchers are flabbergasted by the whole thing.

As royal watchers are discussing this new piece of intel on Reddit, a lot of people are baffled that this would even be a concern of the palace’s in the first place — and that Will and Kate might even prefer a distraction that could give their son more privacy on his first day at a new school.

“George himself is probably delighted that ANYTHING might push it off the front page, poor kid. God I hope he doesn’t turn out as William’s mini-me,” one person wrote.

Another person pointed out, “Maybe if the royal commentators shut up and don’t write about Meghan and Harry on his first day of school there won’t be any ‘hijacking.’ Can’t the royal commentators even hear themselves???”

This is true…

One royal expert claims George attending Eton is important for the royal “brand.”

“Prince George’s start at Eton isn’t just a personal milestone; it’s the beginning of his public-facing path as heir to the throne,” royal commentator Amanda Matta told Fox. “The Palace is incredibly protective of that narrative, and any competing headline — especially one involving Harry and Meghan — threatens to distract from the ‘steady, future-focused’ brand the Prince and Princess of Wales have worked so hard to build.”

Something tells us George will do just fine on the first day of school, regardless of what the headlines might be. When was the last time he even talked to his uncle?!
