There are some people who just get under your skin. You can't stand them. This happens even in Hollywood. When you throw in the egos of divas and actors, things can get dramatic.
The 10 feuds on this list are epic. Some have resolved while others perhaps never will be. From Frank Sinatra to Taylor Swift, feuds are something that never seem to go out of style.
Frank Sinatra and Marlon Brando
Marlon Brando and Frank Sinatra worked together on the 1955 film adaptation of the musical Guys and Dolls. Frank played Nathan Detroit but wanted to play Marlon's role of Sky Masterson. Both actors thought the other was miscast. Frank and Marlon's big egos made them both hard to work with, and having two divas on set was pretty dramatic.
Frank nicknamed Marlon "mumbles" on set. Marlon got revenge by sabotaging a famous scene where Frank had to eat cheesecake. Marlon kept messing up so Frank would have to eat more and more. He eventually got sick and they had to call off filming for the day.
Henry Winkler and Tom Hanks
Both Tom Hanks and Henry Winkler have reputations for being incredibly nice guys. They also allegedly don't get along. It all stems from the 1989 film Turner & Hooch. Henry was hired to direct Tom. After two sets of filming, Henry was replaced by Roger Spottiswoode. Tom and Henry just couldn't see eye to eye when working together.
Neither party has commented on the situation much over the years. Henry has let some things slip. He stated on Elizabeth Day’s podcast How To Fail that he believes he was fired because a fan gave him more attention than Tom. He also opened up about the situation with People a couple years after the incident. "Let's just say I got along better with Hooch than I did with Turner," Henry mused.

Taylor Swift and Katy Perry
Taylor Swift has had her fair share of feuds during her career. Don't forget about Kayne and Kim Kardashian. For the sake of this list, let's focus on Katy Perry.
These women once had bad blood over backup dancers. Taylor hired some of these talented folks who had once worked with Katy and then Katy tried to hire them back while they were still under contract with Taylor. Comments were made on both sides in interviews. Thankfully the women have mended fences. Katy literately sent Taylor an olive branch and appeared in her music video for "You Need to Calm Down."
Kim Cattrall and Sarah Jessica Parker
These Sex and the City stars only play friends on television. Behind the scenes, they clashed on salary and the size of their roles on the hit show. Kim refused to do a third movie because of this. A particularly tense moment played out on Instagram. Sarah commented on a post Kim made about her brother's death, offering her well-wishes. Kim was not happy about this.
"You are not my family. You are not my friend. So I’m writing to tell you one last time to stop exploiting our tragedy in order to restore your ‘nice girl’ persona," she fired back.
Madonna and Elton John
Madonna and Elton were once friends. Things took a turn when he criticized her song "Die Another Day," which was the tune for the James Bond film of the same name in 2002. According to Elton, it was the worst Bond song ever.
Elton went on to call Madonna a “nightmare” and a “fairground stripper." For the most part, Madonna kept pretty quiet about the situation in the press. Perhaps her insults are delivered privately.
Bette Davis and Joan Crawford
This feud is so legendary it inspired a Ryan Murphy series titled Feud. It all began when Bette Davis had high hopes for her 1933 film Ex-Lady. She wanted it to launch a new leading lady phase of her career. Instead, Joan Crawford's divorce stole the headlines. Things only got worse when Bette fell in love with costar Franchot Tone. He fell for Joan instead. The rival actresses were even forced to work together on the 1962 film What Ever Happened To Baby Jane?.
Debbie Reynolds and Elizabeth Taylor
This is a love triangle for the ages. Debbie Reynolds and Elizabeth Taylor were good friends. Debbie served as Elizabeth's maid of honor in her wedding to film producer Mike Todd. Debbie was married to singer Eddie Fisher. Eddie left Debbie for Elizabeth in 1959. It was a huge Hollywood scandal.
Many years later, the women were able to mend their friendship. "You have to look at what life is all about, and is it worth it? And, is he worth it? The friendship was perhaps worth more," Debbie mused.
Gwyneth Paltrow and Martha Stewart
In 2008 Gwyneth Paltrow created a lifestyle brand called Goop. Martha Stewart wasn't afraid to say she believed Gwyneth was riding her coattails and copying her formula. Both women made snide remarks about this in the press. Both got pretty petty, with Martha titling an article "Conscious Coupling" and Gwyneth making a "jailbird" cake.
Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis
Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis were a comedy dream team. Dean was the straight man to Jerry's wild antics. The duo made 16 feature films using this formula. Along the way, Dean began to get jealous of Jerry, believing he got more screen time. Things got pretty tense but the men eventually laughed and made up.
Orson Welles and William Randolph Hearst
Orson Welles' classic 1941 film Citizen Kane was a character study of newspaper tycoons William Randolph Hearst and Joseph Pulitzer. William did not take this very well. He tried everything to sabotage the movie. He blackmailed people, gave it horrible reviews in his publications, and even got his famous friends to back him up. The FBI was even involved at one point. Nevertheless, the film persisted and is a big part of cinematic history.
