For a long time, what was up with Jana Duggar was mostly a mystery. Sure, we got to catch up with her on Counting On and when she'd make an appearance on the Duggar family Instagram page, but otherwise? We had no clue what was going on in her life — and we were worried that she was going to follow the tradition set by her sisters and wait to get her own Instagram account until after she'd gotten engaged or married (something Jana seems in no hurry to do). But fortunately, that totally wasn't the case here.
She's had an account of her own on the app for a while, but we've gotta admit that right from the start, she's been a total pro. Her photos are always beautiful, including plenty of "candid" shots, which are a must on anyone's feed.
Jana's Instagram always inspires us, whether she's offering up new recipes to try or places to explore or even a little fashion. Plus, seeing everything she's good at — like building just about anything, remodeling rooms in her home, and creating her own little garden and greenhouse — makes us want to pursue our own hobbies just as passionately as she does hers. And all the while, she makes it look totally effortless. How does she do it?!

These sisters look so happy to be catching up — and this photo might as well be a commercial for coffee. Everything about this is somehow aesthetically pleasing, from the lighting to the drinks to how pretty Jessa and Jana both look. Why don't we look this stylish on our Starbucks runs?

Yes, another photo involving coffee — and this time, it's just as pretty. Can we talk about how good Jana's hair looks here? Never underestimate the power of a photo taken from behind; it's the perfect Insta shot, especially since you don't have to worry what your face looks like!

We're always jealous of all the traveling that Jana gets to do, and this photo is a perfect example. Not only is the backdrop gorgeous, but Jana looks so cute as well. The composition is also perfect — maybe she's been taking photo lessons from Jinger?

For a minute, let's just pretend we didn't notice that Jana probably did some photo editing on the skirt on the girl in the background and just focus on how pretty this pic is overall. There's nothing like a good fair photo, even though we had no idea grape festivals were a thing. Only in Arkansas!

We love so much about this photo — how cute Jana looks, the beach, that sunny sky. It all came together perfectly, and the way Jana's grinning as she looks off into the distance tells us she is a total pro at these kinds of shots. Plus, that dress and hat combo is really working.

Who doesn't love a good action shot? We've gotta admire how Jana made riding a carousel in a skirt work — side saddle all the way! Plus, the vintage-y vibes combined with the filter she used made this pic look like an instant classic.

Here's Jana, looking flawless during golden hour — not that we're surprised at all (or about the fact that she probably knew golden hour was the ideal time for a new IG photo session). Her dress and sandals are both too cute. And can she please do a hair tutorial? Somehow, her curls always look this perfect.

We know this photo was probably planned, but it looks perfectly candid. She's just shopping for flowers, but this turned out so beautiful. It looks like Jana definitely made all those trips to Texas to see Jinger while she and Jeremy were still living there worth her while.

Speaking of Texas, this is another one of Jana's frequent stops. We're glad that she was able to visit Magnolia so many times, knowing how much she loves HGTV's Chip and Joanna Gaines. We have a feeling they've inspired a lot of her renovation projects around her family's house.

Be sure to swipe — both of the photos Jana included are gorgeous. There's something about the simplicity of a field like this that really makes a picture pop, especially with that lighting. It's practically an Instagram requirement at this point, after all.

Music and learning to play instruments has been huge in the Duggar family since the kids were little. It's no wonder that the piano is still something that Jana is into today. And leave it to her to turn it into a perfectly Instagrammable moment.

A lot of the Duggar women have had an Insta partnership with the clothing brand Citrus & Lemon at some point in their social media careers — it just comes with being a celeb with lots of followers. But Jana pulls off her posts the best (at least, in our opinion). This is full influencer, isn't it?

It might have been a cloudy day, but as usual, Jana brought the sunshine. Her outfit is cute, and her hair looks great — not that we expected anything less. But for some reason, it seems completely right that Jana would be out on a walk looking this good. No ponytail or sweaty face here!

Jana said she was shopping for flowers to get ready for spring, and judging by the garden she's always showing off, it seems like she definitely got things accomplished that day. Plus, she looks pretty as always. Can she please landscape our yards?!

Have we mentioned how Jana knows how to do everything? She explained that she was getting supplies for a casual weekend of building shelves and painting some walls, like it was no big deal — when, in fact, it's a pretty big deal. Is there anything this woman can't do?
Visiting the Museum of the Bible
Even when Jana's out and about at a museum, she looks like a total Instagram model. And at the same time, she shared some 'Gram-worthy photos of her siblings, too. No matter what the schedule calls for, Jana always finds a picture-perfect moment.
Say Cheese
Here, Jana is having a true lunch of champions: mac and cheese and grilled cheese, the ultimate combination. We truly cannot say no to that. Plus, it looks like she's so happy here, which is pretty much how we feel when having a cheese-themed meal.
Getting Touristy in Atlanta
Jana shared this picture from when she visited Atlanta and went to Ponce City Market. There, she found the ball that was used in Times Square on New Year's Eve, and it presented the perfect photo op. As always, she looks gorgeous.
Baking Bread
To us, this is ultimate influencer. Not only did Jana share an aesthetically pleasing picture from her kitchen, but she offered up the recipe, too. Michelle is so lucky to have her oldest daughter's help at home. This bread looks amazing (and easy to make).
A Rainy Day Pic
"When life gives you rainy days, wear cute boots and jump in the puddles," Jana wrote in her caption, and we've gotta agree. It might be hard for some of us to get good photos on a rainy day, but not this lady. This photo — and the angle of it — is too precious.
Candid With Coffee
The combo of lighting and portrait mode here is truly unmatched — way to go, Jana. Some of her best content has come from her visits to Waco, Texas, including this one, and it makes us wish we could jump into this photo and grab a coffee of our own.

Since Jana has always been big on gardening, it makes sense that one of her model moments would happen while she was digging in the dirt — in a dress, of course. Somehow, she looks right at home planting her heart out. Should she buy her own farm someday?
