Fans have been getting too aggressive with throwing things at concerts lately.
Genesis was merely making sure that his mom didn’t become the latest celebrity to get hit with something while she was performing.
Musicians including Harry Styles, Cardi B, Bebe Rexha, Pink, and Drake have recently been hit with items thrown by audience members while on stage performing.
The kid was just doing what he knew he had to do!
This isn’t the first time Genesis has made a point to look out for his mom on stage.
Alicia recently posted a video of him giving her fashion advice.
"So everybody can see your boobs?" he asked, referring to the sheer top and heart shaped pasties she was wearing on stage.
"It's not a big deal. It's boobs. Everyone has boobs," she told him after assuring him no one would be able to see much.
