Reading the comments on social media is not a good idea in general, but for people who have a large audience, itâs probably more important than those who donât. For Audrey and Jeremy Roloff, who were introduced to the world on the TLC show Little People Big World, it seems there will always be those who are rooting for them and others who are not.
Most recently. Audrey shared a photo to her social media, celebrating her husbandâs birthday.
The selfie photo shows Audrey and Jeremy standing in front of a mirror at their house. Sharing a kiss, Audrey snaps a photo using her phone and the reflection in the mirror of their PDA moment.
The caption on the image reads: "When you forget to take the date night photo until you get home to your messy bedroom."
The two looked cute, but some critics of the couple were not buying it.
A critic reshared the image to a popular Reddit community used to discuss the TLC show where the Roloffs got famous. In the reshare, the Reddit user wasnât convinced by the PDA photo.
âShe really needs to stop with the date night photos,â the title of the thread noted. âI mean who does she think this is helping? Jeremy looks like he canât stand kissing her.â
From there, the community chimed in, and participants werenât kind.
âHe is so unhappy and over this insufferable woman. He wanted to come home just like any other couple yet that id–t Audrey canât function without a picture for social media,â shared one person. âJeremy canât even fake it anymore.â
âFeels like it was all staged and they didnât go on a date,â noted another commenter.
âSheâll look back at this and cringe one day. It doesnât count unless we show everyone! Ugh. Idk, just go on a date and let it be,â someone strongly felt. âThe world doesnât need to know. Just live.â
'Most loveless kiss ever,' someone else wrote.
"You know that saying, the people that post the most about how 'in love' they are with their spouse are the ones that are having the most issues,â one critic shared.
âIt looks like he is kissing a lemon,â typed someone else.
âI don't think that's technically even a kiss lol,â another commenter pointed out. âTheir faces are just smooshed together.â
There were some in the community who didnât understand the issue critics had with the image.
âSoâŠwhen the show was at its height of popularity, I lived in the same town, and was a fan,â one person admitted in the comments. âI watched on and off since then, but I guess I missed what happened to make everyone hate her so much?â
âHave people ever tried not being so judgement so about every f—ing thing?â another person added. âSeriously, you all should try it. You will find you have much less stress in your lives.â
âMy only problem is with folks who do not think he is on board with this crap,â another person chimed in. âHe is an adult grown man. Do not blame This staged crap on her only. That being said if itâs working for them then power to them.â
Last week, Audrey took to social media to ask people to stop asking if sheâs pregnant. She had said in an Instagram Q&A that she and Jeremy arenât sure how many kids they want (they currently have three. She shared that they likely want one more, but they want the speculation to stop.
