‘Teen Mom’ Stars Catelynn & Tyler Baltierra Take Home Off Market Amid Foreclosure Rumors

Teen Mom's Catelynn and Tyler Baltierra have taken their Michigan home off the market amid rumors of the possibility of foreclosure. The house was first listed for sale in September 2023 at $454,900, and the price was dropped to $449,900 months later. The couple had failed to pay taxes on the property, which is what put the couple at the risk of facing a foreclosure. According to a Zillow listing, the property was taken off the market on September 4, 2024.

A certificate of forfeiture of real property was filed in March 2024.

The US Sun previously reported that a certificate of forfeiture of real property was filed in March 2024 by a Michigan Register of Deeds office. “On March 1, 2024, the following real property was forfeited to the Sanilac County Treasurer for non-payment of property taxes for the year 2022," it read.

The couple was given until March 2025 to make the payment.

Catelynn and Tyler were given until March 2025 to make the tax bill payment. “If the 2022 taxes are not paid by March 31, 2025, absolute title to the property and any equity associated with an interest in the property will vest in the foreclosing governmental unit," the certificate read.

They owed a little over $5,000.

The amount of taxes owed on the property was $5,007.72. “If the property is not redeemed and is foreclosed and sold or transferred, a person with an interest in the property at the time of judgment of foreclosure may claim that person’s interest in any remaining proceeds," the certificate continued.

Catelynn has denied having unpaid taxes.

Catelynn previously addressed the foreclosure rumors on her Instagram Stories. "Even though it's nobody's business in the first place tbh, but I have been getting random comments & messages about my old home going into foreclosure," she wrote. "This is definitely NOT TRUE at all lol I don't even have a mortgage on that house, because I OWN IT FREE & CLEAR! You guys really gotta stop believing everything you see on the internet."

She also shared a screenshot of her tax payment as proof.

The couple no longer live in the Michigan home.

Catelynn, Tyler, and their daughters Novalee, Vaeda, and Rya moved into a new home in January 2023. According to property records, their new house is 4,296 square feet and sits on six acres of land, which includes a barn, cabin, and pond.
