19 Celebrity Holiday Recipes We Actually Want To Try

We love so much about the holiday season, and many of our annual traditions revolve around food — and that goes for celebrity holiday traditions, too. Many of our favorite recipes have been passed on from friends and family members, but some stars have also shared their favorite holiday recipes with us — whether it's something they came up with in their own kitchen or a dish or dessert that's been in their own families for years.

As you plan your holiday parties and meals, you might end up in a bit of a rut. It's good to include your go-tos, of course, but it's never a bad thing to try out something new that might end up becoming a new favorite for many years to come.

Here are some seriously yummy celebrity recipes that are worth trying out this holiday season. Between cookies, pies, sides, and main dishes (hi, Snoop Dogg's turkey), there's no shortage of food-related inspiration here. Bon appétit!

Dolly Parton's Cinnamon Bread

Having become one of the most iconic treats at Dollywood, it goes without saying that Dolly Parton's cinnamon bread would make a yummy addition to a holiday breakfast or dessert. Since it's made with frozen dough, it's easy to whip up — and it requires plenty of sugar, cinnamon, and butter (you know, all the good stuff!).

Mandy Moore's Pumpkin Pie

If you (or anyone else on your guest list) follows a gluten-free eating plan, this pumpkin pie from Mandy Moore might be the perfect holiday dessert pick. Originally inspired by a food blogger Sweet Laurel, the dish includes a crust made with almond or hazelnut flour.

"I'm gluten free, so I'd say to be sure to offer options so people can still enjoy traditional dishes," Mandy told Real Simple when she shared the recipe.

Chrissy Teigen's Roast Chicken

Chrissy Teigen claims that this roast chicken is "Better Than Ina's," and since claiming that any recipe is better than something that celebrity chef Ina Garten has cooked up is a bold statement, it's worth trying out. This recipe is time-consuming, but the end result, which includes carrots and onions, is totally worth it.

Lauren Conrad's New Year's Eve Cupcakes

Lauren Conrad showed off this cupcake recipe — which she got from baker Amanda Wilens — on her blog, and the treats are perfect for a New Year's Eve party (or even a night in). These champagne-flavored cupcakes are made with champagne baked into the cake, as well as a champagne reduction in the buttercream icing. Add a glass of the sparkly stuff, and the night is complete.

Ayesha Curry's Rum Cake

Here's another dessert idea: rum cake with sticky maple glaze and coconut, courtesy of Ayesha Curry. According to Bon Appétit, she uses two different types of rum in the recipe — spiced and dark — to really make those flavors stand out. Yum!

Meghan Markle's Spiced Almond Holiday Cocktail

Once upon a time, Meghan Markle had a blog called The Tig, and on that blog, she'd share her favorite recipes, including this holiday cocktail. Mixing up bourbon and almond milk with cinnamon, cardamom, ginger, clove, and dates creates a spiced cocktail that will give you major Christmas vibes. Don't forget the cinnamon sugar rim!

Kate Middleton's Marrow Chutney

Meghan isn't the only royal with a recipe to share. Once upon a time, Kate Middleton gave Queen Elizabeth homemade marrow chutney as a Christmas gift, and Pippa Middleton later shared the recipe so anyone can re-create it at home.

"I was slightly worried about it, but I noticed the next day that it was on the table," the Princess of Wales said of the Queen during an interview on ITV, reported Town & Country. "I've noticed since she's done that on lots of occasions and I think it just shows her thoughtfulness, really, and her care in looking after everybody."

Taylor Swift's Chai Sugar Cookies

Years ago, Taylor Swift took to Tumblr to share her recipe for her favorite holiday cookies — of the chai tea-flavored sugar variety, of course. The recipe itself is pretty simple, especially if you're an experienced baker, but the end result tastes like the holidays.

Snoop Dogg's Turkey & Gravy

If you've seen Snoop Dogg and Martha Stewart cook together, you already know the rapper is a pretty impressive chef. He's shared his Thanksgiving turkey and gravy recipe so the rest of us can benefit from his expertise, and though it does take more than 11 hours from start to finish, the end result definitely sounds worth it.

Blake Lively's Roasted Cauliflower

Need a little side dish inspiration? Blake Lively (with the help of Top Chef star Hung Huynh) shared a recipe for roasted cauliflower topped with pomegranate and a vinaigrette sauce that might just make you forget that you're actually eating a vegetable. It's perfect for any vegan or vegetarian guests.

Ashley Tisdale's Candy Cane Sugar Cookies

There's no such thing as too many cookie recipes — around the holidays or any other time of year. That includes Ashley Tisdale's candy cane cookies, which are a traditional twisted sugar cookie that would be so much fun to make (and, of course, decorate) with our kids.

Reese Witherspoon's Buttermilk Biscuits

Every big holiday meal requires biscuits, so why not give Reese Witherspoon's grandma's buttermilk biscuits a try instead of popping a can open this year? As far as making biscuits from scratch goes, this recipe is a relatively simple one, and they're ready in less than a hour from start to finish.

Kristen Bell's Everything Cookies

Kristen Bell has called these "Everything Cookies" her favorite thing to bake, and it's easy to see why! They include cinnamon, oats, chocolate chips, and butterscotch, and they're super easy to make while still seeming a little special for the holidays.

Joanna Gaines' Friendsgiving Casserole

If you need an easy dish, why not try a casserole? Joanna Gaines recommends this Friendsgiving casserole, which puts bread, chicken, veggies, and cranberry sauce all together for a one-dish meal that will keep everyone's tummies full and minimize the time you spend in the kitchen.

Kourtney Kardashian's Pomegranate Champagne Punch

Though Kourtney Kardashian has never been a big drinker, this cocktail recipe she once shared on her app sounds really good. Kourtney's pomegranate champagne punch is made with champagne, pomegranate juice, cranberry juice, Grand Marnier, and rosemary sprigs as a garnish. It would be super easy to whip up for a party.

There's a reason Gigi Hadid's pasta sauce has gone viral on TikTok — it's that good. Relatively basic ingredients like Parmesan cheese, tomato paste, olive oil, and spices along with vodka, garlic, and red pepper flakes create a spicy sauce that tastes delicious on top of your favorite pasta shape.

Lauren Conrad's Wedding Apple Pie

Lauren Conrad's apple pie is so stellar that she served it instead of cake at her wedding to husband William Tell, so we're going to trust her on this one. Everything, including the pie crust, is made from scratch — just imagine that Lauren (with the help of friends) made 50 of these for her big day!

Reese Witherspoon's Holiday Aperol Spritz

The Aperol spritz has been a pretty trendy cocktail recently, and Reese Witherspoon puts her own holiday-themed spin on the classic drink. Along with the traditional ingredients of Aperol, club soda, and prosecco, Reese adds apple cider, too. Watch the video above to learn how. Cheers!

Chrissy Teigen's Scalloped Potatoes

If you're looking for a tasty, carb-y side dish to add to your holiday table, this one from Chrissy Teigen might be a great one to try. Originally created by Chrissy's mom, Pepper, these scalloped potatoes get great reviews from those who have tried them, and they're relatively easy to make.
