If your kid is a picky eater, you’re certainly in good company! Chrissy Teigen recently revealed that her son Miles simply won’t eat his vegetables. Chrissy is (obviously) a known foodie and cookbook author, so if one of her kids doesn’t like veggies, us regular moms who are less savvy in the kitchen can relax a little more about the struggle. Picky eaters can be a challenge when you’re trying to plan meals and keep your kids healthy, but it’s really one of those things that sometimes you simply don’t have control over, even with the best intentions.

When it comes to food, Chrissy's kids are total opposites.
During a recent appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, host Jimmy Kimmel asked Chrissy if her kids are "good eaters" because food is her area of expertise. She shared that her two oldest kids, Miles and Luna, are total opposites when it comes to eating.
Miles just isn't here for vegetables.
"Luna is the best eater. Luna is amazing, she eats salads, vegetables," Chrissy explained. "Miles has still not had a vegetable. He is 6, almost."
She added, "he accidentally ate a broccoli floret in fried rice and was so upset about it."
We all know (or are raising) a kid like that …
Chrissy was at her wit's end and tried to get help.
Chrissy went on to share that she had gone so far as to seek support from a Zoom call that Miles’ school organized to address the "struggle" of getting kids to expand their palates when it comes to food.
"They say that it’s the only thing they really have control over at that age so he uses it," she said.

It isn't just Chrissy's kid, either.
Restaurateur David Chang, who was on the show alongside Chrissy to promote their new show Chrissy & Dave Dine Out, added that his two young sons, Hugo and Gus, are picky eaters as well and that they "don’t like vegetables either."
This all made Jimmy feel better about his own kids.
Jimmy claimed these confessions made him "feel so much better" about his own picky eaters at home — after all, he is a dad of four.
"My daughter is 9," he said. "She will not eat even barely a fruit. We can barely get her to eat anything. Hearing that you guys can’t do it too, I don’t know why it makes me feel better."
It's a relatable problem, but it's nice to know we're not alone!
