Democrats Release Epstein Emails Claiming Trump ‘Knew About the Girls’

Though President Donald Trump has said he didn’t know about Jeffrey Epstein’s sex trafficking when they were friends, people continue to be suspicious about his connections to the convicted sex offender. On Wednesday, November 12, Democrats on the House Oversight Committee shared three emails that suggest Trump knew more about Epstein than he has claimed. However, the White House has dismissed the emails, with White House spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt claiming Democrats wanted to “create a fake narrative to smear President Trump.”

What exactly was in the emails?

None of the emails shared by Democrats were sent by or to Trump. Instead, the email exchanges included Epstein, Ghislaine Maxwell, and journalist Michael Wolff. “Oversight Dems have received new emails from Jeffrey Epstein’s estate that raise serious questions about Donald Trump and his knowledge of Epstein’s horrific crimes,” an X post from Oversight Dems reads. “Read them for yourself. It’s time to end this cover-up and RELEASE THE FILES.”

In one of the emails, dated April 2, 2011, Epstein allegedly wrote in an email to Maxwell that Trump “spent hours” with an unnamed victim. “i want you to realize that that dog that hasn’t barked is trump…[a victim] spent hours at my house with him ,, he has never once been mentioned.”

Trump’s campaign also came up.

Ahead of a Republican debate in 2015, Epstein and Wolff allegedly discussed Trump and a question that could come up during the debate. The released emails show that Wolff informed Epstein about how CNN could ask Trump “about his relationship with you.” In response, Epstein wrote, “if we were able to craft an answer for him, what do you think it should be?”

Wolff wrote back saying, “I think you should let him hang himself. If he says he hasn’t been on the plane or to the house, then that gives you a valuable PR and political currency. You can hang him in a way that potentially generates a positive benefit for you, or, if it really looks like he could win, you could save him, generating a debt.”

Wolff added that Trump could instead say something like, “Jeffrey is a great guy and has gotten a raw deal and is a victim of political correctness, which is to be outlawed in a Trump regime.”

Then, in the most recent exchange, Epstein allegedly claimed Trump “knew about the girls.” The third email shared by Democrats was from 2019. In an email to Wolff, Epstein reportedly wrote, “Trump said he asked me to resign, never a member ever… of course he knew about the girls as he asked ghislaine to stop.”

Of course, Trump has reacted on Truth Social.

And he referred to the ongoing concern about the Epstein files as a “hoax.” He wrote, “The Democrats are trying to bring up the Jeffrey Epstein Hoax again because they’ll do anything at all to deflect on how badly they’ve done on the Shutdown, and so many other subjects. Only a very bad, or stupid, Republican would fall into that trap.”

He continued with, “The Democrats cost our Country $1.5 Trillion Dollars with their recent antics of viciously closing our Country, while at the same time putting many at risk — and they should pay a fair price. There should be no deflections to Epstein or anything else, and any Republicans involved should be focused only on opening up our Country, and fixing the massive damage caused by the Democrats!”

And just in case the way he felt about the whole thing was unclear, he shared a follow-up post, writing, “In other words, the Democrats are using the Jeffrey Epstein Hoax to try and deflect from their massive failures, in particular, their most recent one — THE SHUTDOWN!”
