What to Know
Even though Charlie Kirk is gone, his podcast, The Charlie Kirk Show, lives on, thanks to Turning Point USA. And in a special episode that Erika Kirk herself hosted on April 29, 2026, she goes after pretty much everyone who has come after her. A clip was even posted on X (formerly Twitter). The big takeaway for those who still aren’t Erika fans, however, is how much she now sounds like Donald Trump.
From calling out the media for their perception of her, to Druski’s impersonation of her, to specifically naming Candace Owens as someone who accused Erika of being responsible for Charlie’s death, Erika doesn’t hold back. And now, there is a bit of a concern that this will become a permanent outlet for Erika to air her grievances with literally everyone, a la Donald Trump on Truth Social.
Erika Kirk condemned the “evil” in America.
‘I have comedians dressing up in whiteface, I have people saying I’m not fit to be CEO, AND I HAVE CANDACE OWENS CLAIMING I MURDERED MY HUSBAND’ — Erika Kirk

Erika doesn’t always host The Charlie Kirk Show, but when she does, she burns everything to the ground. OK, not really. But she did use the opportunity to address everything being said about her and everything she feels about the general public. She also defends Trump in the episode, especially in light of the reported shooting at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner.
“It seems to me that nothing will ever be enough for the evil in this world,” Erika says, as she sits in a chair next to an empty one in honor of Charlie and wears all black, presumably as a show of mourning. “Our country has become unrecognizable. These people have perverted the truth to the point that they motivated the murder of my husband.”
She speaks directly into the camera as she goes into how the various headlines about her and the critiques about her have affected her in the months since Charlie’s death. Apparently, she sees it all, even the Druski impression of her online.
“Every morning I wake up to a new headline lying about me,” Erika says. “I have comedians dressing up in white face, I have people saying I’m not fit to be CEO, and I have Candace Owens claiming I murdered my husband. And the list goes on and on and on.”
She also touches on undocumented citizens and what she sees as a larger issue in the United States.
“While we may have big problems with illegal immigration in this country, I have to tell you we have an even bigger problem when it comes to the systemic indoctrination and radicalization of our own citizens,” Erika says.
People say she sounds more and more like Donald Trump.
After someone posted a clip from the episode on X, users on the platform replied to it to share more criticisms of Erika. One pointed out that Charlie didn’t want wives and mothers working and that he probably wouldn’t want this life for Erika since it puts her and their children in the spotlight in a negative way.
“She has zero ability to read a room,” someone wrote on X. “YOU put yourself there lady, go home and take care of your kids and stop with the victim addiction. You don’t get to force your way in, very few people care for you, take yourself & your theatrics and GO AWAY.”
Others called out Erika for supposedly sounding more and more like Trump now. In a way, according to some, Erika is a MAGA mouthpiece. And since she has a platform where she can share what that means for her, it looks like she’s going to use it when she can.
She explained why she went to the White House Correspondents’ Dinner.

During the podcast episode, Erika also touches on the White House Correspondents’ Dinner. She uses the opportunity to explain how distasteful she found the press in the room, who took out their phones to film the chaos after the shooting was reported. She also shared why she attended the event.
“Everyone is asking why I even went to the White House Correspondents’ Dinner, and it was because many of the journalists in that room have attempted to dehumanize me, and I wanted to meet some of them face to face,” she says. “Why have a conversation about me when you can have a conversation with me?”
