Prince George, Princess Charlotte, & Prince Louis Likely To Be ‘Spoiled’ in 2025 After Their ‘Brutal’ Year

The royals haven’t tried to hide the fact that 2024 was tough after both Kate Middleton and King Charles received cancer diagnoses – in fact, Prince William has even gone so far as to describe it as “brutal.” But now that Kate has completed chemotherapy and may finally be out of the woods, one royal expert believes that 2025 will be a time when she and William want to “spoil” kids Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis a bit.

There's no doubt that 2024 was hard for the royal children.

It couldn’t have been easy for them to see their mother sick and going through chemotherapy, and as royal expert Ingrid Seward told Hello! magazinethat may mean Will and Kate will want to bring some levity into their lives in the year ahead.

“Kate will be wanting to spoil them a bit, because it’s very frightening for children when their parents are that ill, so I think they will be up for a few treats this year,” she said.

This could mean some fun vacations are on the horizon.

It seems that quality time is important to the royals these days, so don’t be surprised if Will and Kate decide to go all out when it comes to making memories with their kids.

“I think William and Kate might take the children skiing during the Easter holidays and will probably be planning a big summer holiday, because as far as we know they didn’t go anywhere last year,” Ingrid added.

At the same time, Will and Kate will reportedly continue to protect their children's privacy as much as possible.

While they’re out having adventures in 2025, Ingrid believes that Will and Kate will remain “cautious” when it comes to what they share of their vacations online.

“Like many famous parents, they are cautious about exposing the children to too much scrutiny in this digital age,” she explained. “They know they must produce the children at certain times, but I think they very much keep them under wraps the rest of the time.”

As siblings, George, Charlotte, and Louis are 'all in it together.'

“These kids have a much more ordinary and informal life than their predecessors, because they’re not surrounded by nannies and staff; they’re very much with their parents,” Ingrid told Hello!. “The three of them seem to get on incredibly well; they’re close in age, they all enjoy sports, they’re bound by the situation they’re in and they’re all in it together. And I think that makes them all closer.”

Hopefully, 2025 will be a better year for the royal family.

Though Kate has finished her treatment, it sounds like Charles still has a ways to go. In December, a Buckingham Palace source confirmed to multiple news outlets, including Town & Country, that the king will continue his treatment in 2025.

“His treatment has been moving in a positive direction and as a managed condition the treatment cycle will continue into next year,” the source said.
