Looks like it might be trouble in paradise for Gisele Bündchen and her boyfriend Joaquim Valente. The couple has reportedly ended their yearlong relationship — and, if this new intel is correct, it might have something to do with her ex. At first, Joaquim started off as Gisele’s jiu-jitsu instructor as her marriage to former football player Tom Brady was ending. But over time, their teacher-student relationship developed into a romantic one. And when Tom was the subject of a roast special on Netflix, naturally his failed marriage to Gisele and her new relationship with Joaquim were topics of conversation. Apparently, those jokes may have led to the new couple's downfall.

It sounds like Joaquim might not have been ready to date someone famous.
According to In Touch Weekly, the last time Gisele and Joaquim were seen together in Florida was April 26, which makes people think that their relationship may be on the skids.
“The spotlight was too much for him,” a source told the outlet. “Joaquim’s a regular guy. He’s not used to all the attention he was getting.”
Gisele's ex-husband may have also played a part in the end of the relationship.
The Tom Brady roast definitely didn’t help any overwhelming feelings he may have been having. “Joaquim became part of the joke. People actually started asking him if he was the reason for their divorce. He hated that,” the source added. They also shared that Gisele “blames the break on Tom.”
“By agreeing to do the roast, he basically put a target on Joaquim’s back.”

Tom got roasted hard about Gisele's new relationship.
During the roast, comedians Kevin Hart and Nikki Glaser took jabs at Tom about Gisele and Joaquim’s relationship. “How did you not see this coming? Eight f—ing karate classes a day,” Kevin quipped. “Eight karate classes a day and she’s still a white belt. F— Tom. The only bruises she had were on her a–. everybody should have known it.”
“I can’t help you with this, Tom,” he said.
Gisele and Tom's divorce was an easy target.
“How much would it suck for Tom … omg, just knowing your ex-wife’s new boyfriend could beat your a– while eating hers,” Nikki joked. She added that the only thing “dumber” than agreeing to the Netflix roast was telling Gisele to “try jiu-jitsu.”
“You have seven rings … well, eight now that Gisele gave hers back,” she added.
The jokes reportedly made Gisele pretty upset.
After the roast, sources told People that Gisele was “deeply disappointed by the disrespectful portrayal of her family on Sunday evening's roast show.” The former couple also share two children: son Benjamin and daughter Vivian.
Tom did kind of address the jokes while appearing on The Pivot podcast. During the conversation, he explained that because of the way the roast “affected my kids,” it's not something he would do again.
