Kyle was found dead in the couple's Nashville home in February.

According to E! News, Kellie and her assistant called 911 after they were unable to find Kyle in her home and were unable to open a door in one of the upstairs bedrooms. Metropolitan Nashville Police Department responded to the call, which was made February 17.
Kyle's cause of death wasn't released until May.
At that point, E! News was the first to report that the Davidson Country Medical Examiner had confirmed that Kyle had died by suicide.
At the time, toxicology reports showed that Kyle didn't have any drugs in his system when he died, but the autopsy report included that Kyle had previous incidents of "pseudoseizures, gastrointestinal bleeding, elevated liver enzymes, and chronic alcohol use."
Now, Kellie is speaking out.
The singer has been silent on the subject — including on social media — since Kyle's death, and now, talking to People, she is opening up about what this time has been like for her.
"One of the most beautiful lessons my husband taught me was in a moment of a crisis, if you don’t know what to do, 'do nothing, just be still.' I have chosen to heed his advice," she said.

Kellie went on to thank those who have supported her.
"Thank you to my family, friends, and supporters, for the countless letters, calls, and messages that you have sent my way," she shared. "It has truly touched my soul and it’s helping me get through the darkest time in my life. As many of you have told me, you are all in my prayers."
She is planning a memorial service for Kyle soon.
"I am planning an intimate memorial for my husband, which will happen later this fall, that is what Kyle would have wanted," she said.
Kellie and Kyle had been married since 2011, though they had been dating since 2008.
It's good to hear that Kellie has plenty of support during what must be such a difficult time for her and her family as she plans the perfect send-off for someone she loved so much.
