During recent interviews and and on The Kardashians, Khloé Kardashian has made comments about how she felt when she was “bigger” or even “fat.” The remarks about her body have left some fans feeling concerned — both about Khloé and the message that she’s conveying to others — given that she has “never been fat.”

Khloé discussed her weight on a recent episode of ‘The Kardashians.’
On the February 27 episode of The Kardashians, Khloé and Kendall called Scott Disick to tell him that Mounjaro, the medication he took for weight loss, was visible in his fridge during an episode of the show. “I’m not embarrassed that I took it,” Scott said.
“You shouldn’t be,” Khloé told him. She went on to say that she “would’ve drank that s—” when she “was fat.” She added that she doesn’t think there should be any “shame” associated with taking weight loss medication.
“When I was bigger, I took laxatives, I would take anything — everyone was pushing something ‘cause it was early 2000s,” Khloé continued.
She also opened up about weight loss and body image during a recent interview.
During an interview with Bustle, Khloé explained that her “body started changing” as a “byproduct” of going to the gym amid her divorce from Lamar Odom. She recalled feeling body-shamed regardless of her weight.
“I was fat-shamed every day when I was bigger, and then when I lost weight, people were like, ‘How dare you, you are so insecure, you’re following society,'” she said at the time.

Dealing with that was “so confusing” for Khloé. Because of her weight loss, people assumed that she “must have gotten surgery.”
“I’m like, ‘It’s been a 10-year journey! What are you talking about?'” she said. “But even if people get surgery or [get on] the Ozempic craze, I’m like, ‘Who cares!'”
Though Khloé said she loved how going to the gym regularly made her feel, she admitted that she used to be more confident. “When I was bigger, I thought I was the hottest thing in the world,” Khloé told Bustle. “I had so much more confidence the bigger I was, which is what’s crazy.”
Additionally, she added that she’s “just mad [Ozempic] wasn’t around 10 years ago.”
Fans find some of Khloé’s comments ‘dangerous.’
It’s so sad that Khole still continues to speak like she weighed 600lbs. She’s NEVER been fat and it’s such a dangerous, sad & awful message to send to viewers. #TheKardashians pic.twitter.com/o8PeO7baxL

On social media, Khloé’s comments about when she was “bigger” have garnered some backlash.
“It’s so sad that [Khloé] still continues to speak like she weighed 600lbs,” one Kardashians fan recently wrote on X. “She’s NEVER been fat and it’s such a dangerous, sad & awful message to send to viewers.”
“I’ve been watching Keeping up with the Kardashians,” another fan wrote on the platform. “KHLOE WAS NEVER FAT.”
However, other fans also empathized with Khloé and understood where her body insecurities might’ve come from. In a thread about body image in the 2000s, one X user pointed to the way in which people used to talk about Khloé’s body at the time.
The fan described doing a “double take” when seeing Khloé on an early episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians. “I was constantly told back in 2007 when this aired that she was basically obese,” the X user wrote. “Men always referred to her as ‘the fat sister.'”
“They called this woman a monster when she’s literally just tall,” the fan added.
In 2015, Khloé discussed the impact of being dubbed ‘the fat sister.’
Though she has recently made comments about being “fat” or “bigger” in the past, Khloé previously agreed that she was never fat. However, she said she internalized the comments other people made about her body. “I almost let that take ownership of me,” she told People in 2015. “[In reality] I wasn’t fat; I wasn’t obese. But I would let society make me believe that I was.”
