Kylie Kelce has responded to some of the negative comments she’s received about her appearance. On the most recent episode of her Not Gonna Lie podcast, Kylie explained her typical makeup routine, which is relatively simple and has not changed since she was in high school. In the middle of explaining, she also pointed out that many of her fans seem to have strong opinions about her eyebrows.
She shared some of the negative comments she’s received.
“Your eyebrows look funny,” one of the comments from a fan read. Another fan of Kylie’s podcast urged her to do something about her eyebrows. “Figur[ing] out those eyebrows should be on your list of to-do’s,” the commenter wrote.
In another comment, someone else simply wrote, “The eyebrows ???” Yikes.
Kylie said she has also received direct messages about her eyebrows.
Some of the critics seemed to have better intentions than others. However, Kylie assured her fans that she is not looking for help — even from professionals. “People who do eyebrows professionally, please stop sending me DMs that you wanna fix my eyebrows,” she said. “I really don’t, I don’t have it in me.”
The fact that she hasn’t done anything to change her eyebrows is proof that she’s perfectly OK with how they look, she pointed out. “Guys, if I cared, I would have fixed it by now,” she told her fans.
People have also made positive comments about her appearance.
On the same episode, Kylie responded to a fan who asked her about her makeup routine. The fan told Kylie that she looks “effortlessly beautiful.”
“For your skin, hair and makeup: what are your favorite products? Is your look really as easy as it looks or do you have a ‘team?'” the fan asked.
Kylie said she definitely does not have a team working on her makeup. Before recording her podcast, she normally arrives in the studio five to 10 minutes late. She then “frantically” does her own makeup. “It’s real professional s— going on over here,” she said sarcastically. “And the last most important step of my makeup routine is my mascara. That’s it. There is not a team. I have been wearing the same makeup since high school.”
She went on to describe her makeup routine.
On a typical day, Kylie uses a few basic products. “I do not wear a foundation. I wear a powder. I guess it’s technically a foundation but it’s bareMinerals powder. I wear the same CoverGirl mascara [and] Vaseline chapstick.”
When she does her makeup for a more formal occasion, she adds a few more steps to the routine. She listed some of the products she uses: “Moisturizer, concealer under my eyes and on my eyelids just to hold eyeshadow, bareMinerals matte foundation.”
Kylie then went on to say that it’s actually “not foundation.” “Powder?” she said. “I don’t know what it is.”
She described the next steps: “Bronzer, some blush, and then I usually rub it off. Like I put it on, then I rub it off. ‘Cause that makes sense. Then I do my eyebrows somewhere in there before that.”
Finally, Kylie said she applies mascara, but “recently graduated to curling lashes.” The last couple steps in Kylie’s fancier makeup routine are also simple: “And some shadow, and then chapstick. Sometimes lip gloss, never with a color. No sparkle.”
