Back in the early 2000s, Lindsay Lohan was one of the queens of the tabloids. Her hard-partying antics and feuds with frenemies like Paris Hilton and Britney Spears almost made her more famous than her string of hit movies. Almost. Really, who doesn't love Mean Girls or Freaky Friday? Back then, it would have been hard to picture Lindsay as a mom and as a celebrity who is leading a very quiet life and largely staying out of the media.
But that is exactly what the 2024 version of Lindsay Lohan is doing. She's been married since 2022 and living quietly abroad in the United Arab Emirates. In 2023, she welcomed her first child, a son named Luai. She's kept her son very private, so fans were excited to learn she recently returned to the United States and was spotted out in public with him for the first time!

Lindsay was spotted at the airport.
The Daily Mail shared the sighting of Lindsay, her financier husband Bader Shammas, and their 5-month-old son as they stepped out of Joh F. Kennedy International Airport in New York on Saturday.
The couple were dressed in matching black outfits and face masks, but Lindsay's signature red hair made her easy to spot. Little Luai, whose name means "shield" or "protector" in Arabic, stayed under wraps in his stroller, covered by a blanket, so no evidence yet if he inherited his mom's gorgeous hair color.
This might be baby Luai's first trip to the US.
Lindsay has been happily living in Dubai since 2014, but several members of her family, including sister Ali, still reportedly live in New York. Although it seems likely that Lindsay and her little family might be in the US to enjoy some family time, fans probably shouldn't expect to see the star moving back here any time soon.
She gushed to Entertainment Tonight in 2017 that she loves "the serenity and peace that I find living in the Middle East because there are no cameras in Dubai, and I can actually focus on what I want to do in life. I don't always have to be scrutinized every second. I can have a private life and have a public life, but when I choose to. I think that's really important."
Lindsay also will be making a return to the screen soon.
Given how much privacy she's given him so far, fans probably shouldn't expect to see much more of baby Luai in the near future. But they can get ready to see a lot more of Lindsay.
The actress has a three-movie deal with Netflix and dropped the first Christmas-themed movie, Falling for Christmas, back in 2022. Her second movie was a little delayed due to her pregnancy with Luai but has now been completed. The film is called Irish Wish and features Lindsay as a bridesmaid whose life is getting very complicated. This romantic comedy, which also stars Jane Seymour and Ayesha Curry, will debut on the streaming service in March 2024.
