News broke Thursday afternoon that Madonna had left the hospital via private ambulance.
The 64-year-old is now set to be treated at home, according to The Mirror, which documented the few known details of her release.
It sounds like she was officially discharged from the Intensive Care Unit where she had been since Saturday June 24, which is a good sign for her prognosis and her path to recovery.
Despite that good news, those close to her are still very concerned.

According to TMZ, insiders close to the pop star have expressed concern over just how well she'll adhere to doctors' orders now that she's out of the hospital.
It appears everyone is worried that she'll forgo the recommended rest and recovery period and jump directly into her world tour, which was set to be delayed as a result of her sudden illness.
It may have been rehearsals for the tour that landed her in the hospital in the first place.
Madonna's longtime talent manager Guy Oseary has spoken out about what happened, reassuring fans that the 64-year-old's health continues to improve despite the scary start to the week.
The mother of six was hospitalized for a bacterial infection after being found unresponsive at home. We cannot imagine how terrifying that must've been!
She had been ignoring symptoms for a month.
It sounds like Madonna was suffering from a low-grade fever for an entire month before her medical emergency. Sources say she ignored the fever in favor of spending more time rehearsing for her tour, which was originally set to start in July in Vancouver, Canada. Of course, with this news, it's unclear if and when her tour will begin.

Although we're glad to hear this promising news, we have to admit we're still a bit worried.
The fears being shared by those around her make us a little bit nervous about whether Madonna will continue to push herself harder than she should over the next few weeks.
Hopefully, she follows the advice of her medical team and takes a break so she can fully recover. We can't imagine a world without Madonna, and this is as close as we ever want to come!
