The feud between the royals, Prince Harry, and Meghan Markle doesn’t appear to be coming to an end anytime soon. And even if they are able to kiss and make up eventually, one person doesn’t love that Kate Middleton could receive all the credit. According to one royal insider, Meghan resents that Kate is thought of as the family’s “peacemaker” when she reportedly hasn’t seen her do much peacemaking between the brothers at all.

Meghan is feeling 'critical' of the way Kate has been portrayed in their feud.
A royal insider told Heat Magazine (via Geo News) that Meghan is upset her sister-in-law has been dubbed a “peacemaker” when, in her opinion, Kate hasn’t been trying hard enough to get Prince William and Harry talking again. It’s apparently all the more frustrating because Meghan does believe that Kate is the only one who could actually make it happen.
Meghan believes there's more that those on the royal side of the feud could be doing.
“Meghan is well aware that William has major reservations about making peace with Harry, let alone inviting him back into the fold,” the source claimed. “But she believes he would be a lot more inclined if he had more encouragement from others, especially Kate, who â in her mind â arenât doing enough to soften Williamâs stance.”
There's just one problem: Meghan doesn't believe she's able to criticize Kate without getting backlash.
“Meghan is very anxious not to appear critical of Kate, especially after what sheâs been through this year,” the insider added, per the news outlet. “But at the same time, she does privately find it frustrating that she isnât stepping up more to help Harry â especially as sheâs touted as the peacemaker.”
It’s true that the public usually takes Kate’s side if she and Meghan seem to be at odds, so it makes sense Meghan wouldn’t want to say a word.

Insiders recently claimed that Kate's getting tired of trying to get the boys to play nice.
In October, royal expert Chris Andersen told Fox News Digital that Kate was “disgusted” that their feud was still going on after all this time.
âShe did try over a period of years and finally threw up her hands in disgust,â he said at the time. âShe did her bit, but it wasnât enough to build a bridge between William and Charles on the one side and Harry on the other.â
The families are celebrating the holidays separately yet again.
This time around, it sounds like Harry and Meghan weren’t invited to spend Christmas at Sandringham with the rest of the family, so it looks like they’ll be staying put in California this year. It’s certainly a bummer he and Will haven’t found a path forward for their brotherly relationship yet, but there’s always next year.
