A rainbow baby is a baby who is born following a pregnancy loss.
For those who may be unfamiliar, a rainbow baby is a baby who is born after someone experiences a pregnancy loss, most commonly a miscarriage but also a stillbirth, ectopic pregnancy, or neonatal death. It's meant to symbolize the rainbow that comes after a storm — or in this case, after going through what can often be the extremely difficult experience of grieving a pregnancy loss.
Ms. Rachel has always been all about sharing her own experiences.
And sometimes, that includes the stuff that's harder to talk about, whether it's her previous pregnancy loss or the mean comments she received on the internet, like the ones she addressed in the video about her qualifications being more important than her looks.
It's honest content like this that keeps parents coming back … and the catchy songs are for the kids, of course. (OK, they're mostly for the kids. Anyone up for a round of "Icky Sticky Bubble Gum"?)
