Southwest Says Savannah Chrisley Was Kicked Off Flight After ‘Repeatedly’ Insulting Staff

A representative from Southwest Airlines has spoken out after Savannah Chrisley made a series of damning Instagram posts about her recent interaction with the airline company. According to the representative, things may not have gone down the way the Chrisley Knows Best star claims they did — in fact, the airline insists it was Savannah's bad behavior that got her booted from her flight.

The airline rep challenged Savannah's claims.

Page Six was able to speak with someone from Southwest on Saturday, who shared a different version of the events that took place during Thursday's altercation. According to the source, 25-year-old Savannah "repeatedly insulted several employees," causing her to be "denied boarding on her original flight."

And that's not all the rep had to say …

The source claims Savannah displayed plenty of bad behavior before she tried to board her flight.

The rep shared that, in addition to being rude to staff, Savannah "arrived at the gate late in the boarding process and was asked to gate-check her bag due to the overhead bins being full and to avoid delaying the more than 100 passengers already onboard the aircraft."

This doesn't at all match Savannah's original story that paints her as the victim of poor customer service.

According to Savannah, the trouble started when the agent at the gate refused to let her board.

In a since-expired Instagram story, Savannah claimed she was harassed for pushing back when she tried to stow her carry-on bag. "This man right here … um, awful," she said as she zoomed her phone camera in on the person in question.

"I went to board my flight to get on, and he told me that I had to check my bag," she continued. "I was like, 'Okay, if you wouldn't mind, I'm gonna take my bag on the flight, see if I can't make it fit and if not, I'll check it.'"

She said this is when things went off the rails.

She claims she then told the agent that the delay was going to cause her to get home late to her niece Chloe.

Savannah has had full custody of Chloe and younger brother Grayson ever since her parents, Todd and Julie Chrisley, reported to prison in January. Savannah said she tried to explain her special circumstances to the gate agent, but he was unmoved.

"And well, the Southwest attendant said, 'I don't care,'" she claimed in her video.

Savannah eventually made it home.

An overnight flight finally got Savannah where she needed to be, and she was able to reunite with Chloe and Grayson. Whether that's the end of the story remains to be seen.

Southwest said it's aware of Savannah's claims and the videos she shared and that it will be conducting an investigation into the incident.
