The cost of groceries continues to be a concern for many families in the United States. For Teen Mom alum Kailyn Lowry, stocking up on food to feed her family is surely expensive given that she has seven kids. On the January 27 episode of the Coffee Convos podcast, Kailyn revealed the shocking amount she spent buying fast food for her kids.

Kailyn recently stopped at Chick-fil-A to buy food for her family.
On the podcast, Kailyn told cohost Lindsie Chrisley about how she recently went to Chick-fil-A for the first time in a long time. While there, she purchased meals for all seven kids, her partner Elijah Scott, her nanny, and her nanny’s husband. Kailyn is mom to Isaac, 15, Lincoln, 11, Lux, 7, Creed, 4, Rio, 2, and twins Verse and Valley, 1.
She said her twins ‘eat real food now.’
Because of this, she said bought “eight-piece nugget Chick-fil-A meals for all seven kids.” She explained that even though the twins do not finish the meals in one sitting, they eat the leftovers the following day.

The meals cost her over $100.
The amount of money she spent during that trip to Chick-fil-A came as a surprise. “It came to $120,” she revealed. Lindsie couldn’t believe that Kailyn spent that much money on one fast food meal.
Previously, Kailyn spoke about whether she plans on having more kids.
Although she admitted that it’s “bittersweet,” Kailyn doesn’t plan on having more kids in the future. “You think you’re done, and then you [have] these last squishy moments,” she previously said. “I remember going through the twins’ 3-month clothing, and I’m like, ‘This is the last time I’m ever going to do this. Like, are we sure we’re done?’” In spite of her mixed feelings, she got her tubes tied after welcoming her twins.
Sometimes, she still can’t believe she actually has seven kids.
“I still truly can’t believe I have seven kids to be honest,” she previously told E! News.
However, she still feels like she’s able to give each child “individual time,” which was an important factor when considering whether or not she would expand her family.
“I think I do a really good job with that now,” she told the publication. “If I added more, I just don’t know that I would be able to give everybody individual time.”
