What to Know
Following the news that Allison Holker is engaged again three years after the unexpected loss of her husband, Stephen “tWitch” Boss, new court documents filed against her are coming to light. Apparently, tWitch’s mom accused Allison of cutting her off from the children the couple shared (her grandchildren) and even filed a lawsuit against her over the situation.
The legal documents were originally filed in September 2025.
According to a new report by the Daily Mail, tWitch’s mother, Connie Boss Alexander, claimed in court documents that after her son died in December 2022, Allison “refused to allow me or any other members of our family to communicate with or see the Minor Children.”
Allison is a mom to Weslie from a previous relationship, but shared her two youngest children, Maddox and Zaia, with tWitch.
“At times, contact would be cut off altogether and only resumed after I reached out repeatedly. Over time, our communication became increasingly infrequent, and at this point, we’re no longer in contact despite my numerous attempts,” Connie continued.
tWitch’s mom was hoping to be granted visitation with the kids.
Since Allison wasn’t facilitating the relationship between her kids and their paternal grandparents, Connie was asking the court for help.
“I believe it in the best interests of the Children to continue to have a relationship with their father’s family, especially now that he is no longer present in their lives,” she said. “My hope is that this Court can grant me limited grandparent visitation in a way that neither infringes on [Allison’s] autonomy or disrupts their life.”
Allison responded to the filing in February, writing that Connie hadn’t attempted to contact the children in months and had turned down any invites to visit them, adding, “At all times Connie has had all of the children’s contact information, including my telephone number and email and my assistant’s email and telephone number.”
Ultimately, the lawsuit was dismissed earlier this month because of a lack of jurisdiction.
This isn’t the first time tWitch’s family has spoken out against Allison.
After Allison released her memoir, This Far: My Story of Love, Loss, and Embracing the Light, which contained personal details about the end of tWitch’s life (including her alleged discovery of his hidden drug use), Connie took to Instagram to share a statement against her.
“Our family is absolutely appalled by the misleading and hurtful claims made about my son, Stephen Boss. The recent publications spreading untruths about Stephen have crossed every line of decency,” she wrote in January 2025. “As his mother, I will not let these accusations go unanswered. We will not stand by while his name and legacy are tarnished. He doesn’t deserve this, and the kids don’t deserve this.”
