The Basic French Braid
If you're a braiding novice, start here. This video shows — in detail — how to do a basic French braid. (I personally learned how to French braid my daughter's hair via this video a year or so ago.) Once you've got this down, the braiding possibilities are endless.
Dutch Braids
The Dutch braid, aka the Boxer braid, aka Double French braids are everywhere now — thanks in part to the Kardashians. This tutorial from Farah Dhukai shows exactly how to get the look.
Double Fishtail Braids
If you're kind of over the Boxer braid look, try doing double fishtail braids, which actually are easier. This Instagram tutorial from Sarah Angius lays out the steps for you to try.

Braided Headband
This super-cute braid headband is beyond easy to do. If you know how to fix a basic braid, you're good to go.
Milkmaid Braid Updo
