How to make an adorable fishbowl terrarium that will bring sunshine to your office cube

My top office cubicle decorating tip: Add a plant.

It's green, it's alive, it keeps you company.

But why settle for a simple plant when you can easily make a really cute terrarium with all the things you can find in your local hardware store?

Even better: The whole project will cost you $30.

Start with a layer of river rocks in your glass fishbowl.

You can also use a Mason jar, a vase, or a tank.

Add a layer of charcoal pieces.

This keeps things from getting moldy and weird-smelling.

Use enough potting soil to fully plant your lil' green babies.

Then plant your lil' green babies (I used a couple of succulents).

Dig a couple of little holes in the potting soil, put the plants in, and pat the dirt around them.

Layer the top with some sheet moss.

Finally, decorate with a cute figurine. I used a black bear :)

Don't forget to water it each time the moss feels dry!
