We've written, from the male perspective, what makes women good in bed.
Now it's time to hear it from the *dark side.*
Men of Reddit took to their keyboards to tell each other (and women) what, in their opinion, women do that labels them BAD in bed.
Here were the common threads we saw:
"A lack of participation."
"Like 'star fishing,' where they just lay on the bed, legs open, arms by their side," said Randian Hero. "Little to no participation, and you have to do all the work.
"Nothing worse," he added. "Instant de-rection."
Star fishing — also known as dead fish, dead frog, or "just laying there."
"I don't want to join the 'she just lays there' circle jerk, so here's a more helpful explanation: have preferences!" said gobbledy_gooker. "Too many times, I've seen girls either just lay there or they go with the flow and do whatever it was I wanted to do… which was not unwelcomed, but I do want to do things that you like, as well."
"She has no clue about her own body."
"I can't tell you how frustrating it is if a woman you are in bed with is too brain-dead upstairs to know if something feels good or not," said 1AmericanHero.
"If you can't give feedback to the man you are with, you need to go learn about your own body more and become more comfortable with being erotic."
Faking it.
"Some women think that they are pretty good liars, and then come to bed and make fake sounds. For me, it is a turnoff. I prefer gentle moaning (but true moaning) to motherfuckin' loud fake 'screaming,'" said Izitable.
"Be verbal about what you like, and give tips on what you want the man to do. It will improve sex for both of you."
"A girl who wants to give head, but is terrible."
Sometimes that's due to them not actually wanting to do it, and sometimes it's the skill itself, said sumo_kitty: "If you don't want to be there, then let's move along to the main event… Imagine a girl just puts her lips around your dick and that's it. No suction, no motion, just chillin' right there."
"The worst part is when they brag about how awesome their blowjob skills are then give the limp lipped head bob and look up at you with the 'why aren't you screaming in pleasure?' expression," added StarMagnus.
Comparing their current partner to their ex.
"It would also be a nasty reminder that she's been with all those other guys too," said The_British_One. "And I don't personally like thinking about that. I don't mind that she has slept with other guys before me, but I don't want to think about it."
"Death grip."
"I feel like a lot of girls think guys like it when you just grab the fuck on and jerk it like your pumping water from a well," said teedots.
"Be delicate, ladies.
"Also, teethy BJs. Don't do it."
"Not communicating."
"If something feels great and you want more, say it. If you don't and I change positions early, you've lost your own orgasm," said Sciency_shit.
But, he notes, "if you are in the mood for something unusual, then let's talk about it before sex."
Telling a guy how "big" he is.
Commenting on the size of a guy's penis — being large or otherwise — is a don't more often than not, said onemanlan.
"In general, guys are pretty touchy about their size and it's a rather taboo subject that guys think about but hardly talk about. Most every guy will respond to gratification about size, or feel like shit if it's commented on negatively."
"If the guy knows he is not big, he knows she is lying to make him feel better," added PapaFedorasSnowden. "If he is generally big, he might feel objectified."
