Homeland Security Finds ‘Child-Sized’ Sex Doll in Home of ‘Lonely’ Man Claiming To Work for Roblox

Police arrested Jamie Borne in March 2023, after he allegedly fired a gun and threw airsoft grenades at a tent with people inside. He was later convicted of those crimes. Then, a routine home visit by New Orleans District Probation and Parole officers on February 26, 2026, reportedly revealed something extremely disturbing. The probation officers reported finding a child sex doll in 30-year-old Borne’s home, which prompted a call to a Louisiana State Police SVU Investigator and a Homeland Security Task Force Officer. As investigators searched Borne’s home, they allegedly found child sexual abuse material and multiple other disturbing items.

Police noticed the sex doll during a routine probation check.

WGNO reported that parole officers asked Borne about a “child-sized sex doll” on a sofa inside his bedroom. He reportedly explained he had the doll because “he was very lonely.” Police consulted with the Attorney General’s Office and returned to Borne’s home to investigate further on February 27, WWL reported. When they returned to the home, they noticed BDSM toys and condoms placed near the doll that “had features that resemble those of a child under the age of 18.”

Borne allegedly admitted to possessing child sex abuse materials.

When talking to police, Borne reportedly admitted to possessing child sexual abuse materials, which led to the seizure of multiple electronic devices. WGNO reported that police took multiple iPhones, laptops, hard drives, USB drives, and power cords from Borne’s house following his arrest. He was charged with 40 counts of pornography involving juveniles under the age of 13, and one count of possessing, trafficking, or importing a child sex doll.

Borne reportedly told investigators he worked for Roblox.

During the investigation, Borne, who was convicted of the tent attack in 2023, reportedly told police he worked as a programmer for Roblox. After the rumor began to circulate, the company vehemently denied the claim in a statement to WWL.

“The individual is not, and has never been, a Roblox employee,” a spokesperson shared in a statement.

The company added that it does its best to protect all users on the platform with its community standards.

“Roblox’s platform allows people unaffiliated with the company to build experiences that are governed by our robust community standards. We currently have more than 2 million creators using our technology to build. We have deactivated his experiences and banned his accounts in accordance with our off platform behavior policy in our community standards,” the spokesperson added.

A court set Borne’s bond at $2 million.

Fox 8 reported that police booked Borne on February 27, for the child sex doll charge and on March 17, for the child sexual abuse charge. The Attorney General’s Office used the case as a warning for others living in Louisiana.

“Our Criminal Division is now prosecuting this disturbing case against Jamie Borne,” Attorney General Liz Murrill said in a statement obtained by the news outlet. “If you possess child sexual abuse materials or child sex dolls, you will face Louisiana justice.”

This should be the case no matter where you live. If you mess with a child, you go to prison. Period.
