Police in Ohio have arrested a mother accused of abusing her baby. Cloe Workman, 20, allegedly abused her baby and then sent an incriminating video to the baby’s father. The disturbing video reportedly went viral on social media, causing an uproar. Though the mother apparently has no prior criminal history, her alleged actions have left her with a domestic violence charge.
According to court documents obtained by the Cincinnati Enquirer, Workman allegedly spit on her child’s face, pushed her head, and squirted dish soap in her mouth. Now, the baby’s father’s family wants justice.

The video sparked an investigation.
Loveland police investigators said Workman sent the video to the child’s father, according to the Enquirer. A short time after video of the alleged abuse began to circulate online, it caught the attention of police and child protective services. Police arrested Workman on December 19, 2024. The next day, she appeared in court.
She faces misdemeanor charges.
Per the Enquirer, Workman appeared in Hamilton County Municipal Court on December 20 and faces charges of child endangerment and domestic violence. Judge Dwayne Mallory released her on her own recognizance and ordered her to wear an electronic monitoring device. She will also be under 24-hour house arrest. WSAZ reported her next court appearance is January 6, 2025.
Workman's alleged actions received intense backlash online.
Soon after word began to spread, Brandy Blanco made a scathing post about Workman on Facebook, including a video of the alleged abuse in the comment section. She wrote, “Cloe workman I hope you get what you deserve . Treating your child that way just because your baby father doesn’t want to be with you is disgusting and having the time and the guts to record it ,wow . Wasn’t woman enough to keep her social media either.”
A comment reads, “I’m sick! That poor baby…”
“This woman is clearly ill… please tell me this baby is ok,“ another person agreed.

The baby's family launched a GoFundMe account for the father.
The baby’s uncle, Jeffrey, wrote on the fundraiser page, “My family is going through a lot right now. Cloe Workman abused my niece and sent disgusting videos and messages of it to my brother (my niece’s dad). We are doing everything we can, but as of right now, my brother Steven does not have my niece in his care and is doing his best to get her back with him where she rightfully belongs.”
He added, “If anyone could please donate and/or share to help my brother afford an attorney, and what he needs to fight for his child! Thank you again, everyone, for your support, prayers, and love. We appreciate everything more than you guys know!”
The family’s raised $1,600 of a $5,500 goal thus far.
