Woman Goes Viral After Confronting Teens Who Fat-Shamed Her Wife at Water Park

There are few things scarier for adults in their 30s and 40s than a group of middle school or high school kids. But when one woman, Madison Sinclair, shared a TikTok that she dealt with a group of teenage bullies in her own way, she might have inspired a generation of millennials and older Gen Z folks to eventually do the same.

In her TikTok, Madison explains that she and her “plus-size wife” went to a water park, where they dealt with rude comments, snickers, and overall teenage nonsense from a group of teen girls in line in front of them for a water slide. But instead of turning the other cheek, Madison made sure the teenagers knew what they did was rude and unacceptable.

She admitted that you’re “never too old” for teen bullies.

You’re never too old to get bullied by teenage girls

Madison explains in her video that she and her wife were in line for a water slide behind a group of three girls. Because the slide required riders to be together in a raft and a raft had two spots open, Madison and her wife were able to jump ahead of the three girls and get in a raft. But the girls immediately took issue with this and just had to say something. Because that’s the teenage brat way, as we all know.

“These c–ts took it as [if] we skipped the line,” Madison explains. “And it’s like, no, there’s only space for two people. And then one of them was like, ‘oh, I guess you get to skip the line if you weigh more now.’ And they all start giggling. And then we have to go on the communal scale. And she’s like, ‘I hope the scale’s okay.'”

Yeah, if you feel a little triggered at this point, I think all of us who have ever dealt with a teenage bully who targeted our weight feel the same way. It’s not fun, and it feels as awful as it sounds, especially when you end up feeling too defeated to clap back. For Madison’s wife, though, there was no worry about taking this kind of behavior without saying something in return.

She confronted them after the incident.

Madison goes on to say in her video, “As I’m getting into the water slide float, I said, ‘I f–king heard that. Don’t you ever talk to my f–king wife like that again. I’ll f–king kill you.'”

She also admits that this isn’t how you should talk to minors. However, even the lifeguard sort of had the couple’s back. Madison says that when the lifeguard asked what happened and Madison explained that the teenagers called her wife fat, the lifeguard was on their side.

“I think it came from two places. I think it came from the fact that, like, that’s my wife. Don’t you ever talk about her. Also came from this place of, like, they were wearing the same exact Abercrombie & Fitch bathing suits that the girls that bullied me in high school are wearing,” Madison explains. Yeah, that tracks.

Other plus-size people applauded the wife.

After Madison posted the video to share her story, other women who consider themselves to be plus-size or even larger than the teenage girls described in the story were commented to applaud Madison.

“As a fellow plus-size woman I appreciate it!” One user commented. “Bc nobody has ever done that for me.”

Another person wrote, “As someone who has been bullied at water parks all my life for my weight, hearing your response to them healed something inside me.”
