How often do you take time out of your day to recognize and appreciate Mom? She not only birthed and then raised you, but she's been a friend and confidante for years. And she deserves sweet words. So that's exactly what one young man did when he performed a beautiful spoken word poem titled #DearMum.
We hope you donned some waterproof mascara this morning, because this beautiful and powerful message should leave you in a puddle on the floor. Moms and kids alike, get ready to shed some tears. Take a look at the video:

He thanks her for everything she's done. From giving birth to him, to the little moments like making him hot tea when he was sick, those are all memorable and sweet parts of life that deserve to be acknowledged and recognized.
And it really gives us a great reminder: We should all do this. Even if it's not a produced and artfully written poem, giving mom a "thank you" and a shout-out takes so little out of your day but ultimately means so much.
