On October 5, Netflix will be releasing season two of its original animated series, Super Monsters. There will be an exciting Halloween special to come as well. If your preschooler is unfamiliar with Super Monsters, the series follows the children of some famous monsters, like Frankenstein, Cleopatra, and Dracula. So it's perfect for getting into the Halloween spirit!
The little monsters are learning the ins and outs of Pitchfork Pines Preschool and trying to master their superpowers.
The kids go through a âtransformationâ before going to preschool at night. School ends as the sun rises and starts at sunset. Sun down, monsters up!
Season two includes seven new episodes, each 22 minutes long. This season will feature four original songs.
This season will also introduce a new character, Spike the dragon.
The Super Monsters will also be seen riding around on fun trips with their new pal, GrrBus.
And although they are little monsters, the show is all about making the world seem a little less scary for kids.
The not-so-scary Super Monsters model positive behavior for young kids as they discover the value of self-control, kindness, respect, friendship, problem-solving and determination, according to Netflix.
