To say 2019 is going to be a big year for the Salisbury Fire Department would be quite the understatement. That's because the North Carolina firehouse is about to have seven new additions (or "probies," if we're talking like real firefighters here). According to ABC News, seven of the firefighters' wives became pregnant at (more or less) the same time, and touching photos commemorating the happy news are now going viral.
When photographer Brianna Mitschele caught wind of the story, she just knew she had to capture it so each family could cherish the memory.
We're willing to bet they're all glad she did, since the resulting photos were definitely worth it.
"I heard about all of my friends expecting and then the number of ladies expecting kept rising so I asked about doing a shoot," she told ABC. "All seven of the ladies were so excited and I was so happy to be able to capture such a memorable time in the department's history."
Believe it or not, two other firefighter babies were also born in December and February, bringing the grand total to nine babies in just one year.
The ones on the way now have due dates in March, April, May, June, August, and September. (Talk about a steady roll-out!)
"[I'm] so happy to all be together going through this special life-changing moment together," Mitschele told ABC. "All of the ladies are expecting their first child except one, she is expecting her second."
Mitschele made the photo shoot extra-special by gathering the women together and having them pose with their growing bumps in front of the fire truck.
Each one also donned their husband's bunker pants, while holding up personalized onesies Mitschele made. Sweetest of all? The onesies featured the babies' last names, plus the number of the firehouse where their dad is stationed. (ADORABLE!)
This isn't the first time a story like this has made headlines (and made all of us collectively oooh and aww).
In May 2018, firefighters at one Oklahoma firehouse welcomed seven new babies, and the photos of the little cuties laying on their dads' bunker coats were next-level adorable.
Then in September 2018, a firehouse in Revere, Massachusetts made headlines for welcoming nine babies in under a year. (The dads all posed with their babies in front of the fire truck to show off their growing families and it was equally cute.)
Good luck to the seven — err, make that nine! — firefighter families at the Salisbury FD who are soon to become incredibly happy and incredibly sleep-deprived. (As if those dads aren't already losing sleep at their day jobs!)
